SPACIOUS Family home available in Christmas Valley equidistant to SLT, Kirkwood & Sierra. Away from the hustle & bustle of Stateline, enjoy the peace and tranquility of Meyers. Kids playground, sleds, board games & Gas BBQ. Gated Backyard. Walk to hike, snow shoe, or build snowmen. Stocked kitchen, with two living rooms w/ TV & gas fireplace. Ten minutes from the "y". Close to Meyers restaurant, bar and cafe! Perfect for your family getaway! New furniture and bedding, Phots coming soon! The space We are about 5 miles from the "Y". So close to town but not in the hustle and bustle. Meyers is a great small community in South Lake Tahoe. We have, in my opinion and fellow yelpers, the best breakfast in town. The Getaway and Downtown Cafe are about a mile away, great walk in the summer! We are about a mile from the Divided Sky, cool bar with great food. We often cycle over, have a meal and cycle home. We are super close to Desolation Wilderness and about half way between Heavenly and Sierra. But not far from Kirkwood either. We are across from the Upper Truckee River which makes for a great walk, not far from Hawley Grade and Meyers Grade. Hawley Grade - 3 Miles Echo lake - 4.3 miles Heavenly - 9.8 miles Sierra at Tahoe - 9.8 miles Kirkwood - 26 Miles Pope beach - 8 Miles Kiva Beach - 9.7 Miles State line - 12 miles IMPORTANT: Although we do our best to keep our house in clean, this is a family home. If you are looking for something in pristine condition and pressed sheets, this is NOT a home for you. With that being said, we do welcome families who will take care of our home like they with their own. I do expect you to tidy after yourself and be respectful of our home. We have loads of kitchen extras, fully stocked pantry with many spices, ninja blender, crockpot, kitchen aid mixer, baking sheets, cooking trays and much more... Our Mountain Retreat is a beautiful 2,300 square foot higher end home 5 miles from Lake Tahoe, close to Fallen Leaf Lake, Camp Richardson, Echo Summit, Tahoe Golf Course, and many restaurants and activities, without all of the busyness of town. Well furnished, open layout, with fireplace and vaulted ceilings. Fully fenced back yard. This is a wonderful home and location for spending time and building lifelong memories with family and friends. This newer 3 bedroom, 2 bath mountain home is decorated with plush furnishings and all the comforts of a mountain resort, with the feel, freedoms, and privacy of a personal home. Features include: - Private fully fenced back yard. - Spacious and fully equipped kitchen, with plenty of counter space, and multitiered island - Cozy open living area off kitchen with vaulted ceilings and stone fireplace - Baby gates, high chair, pack and play for families with little ones (Available upon request) - Smart TV's - WiFi throughout house - Desk and chair for remote work - Washer and dryer - Gas fireplace KITCHEN: The FULLY equipped kitchen features custom knotty alder cabinets, plenty of granite counter top space including the large tiered island with built in gas stove for preparing multi course meals, daylight through its skylights, and access to a spacious deck with BBQ. HOSPITALITY We employ a professional hospitality team, which includes many luxury features: - Clean, inspected, warm, accessible and staged home awaits - Early Check-in / Late Checkout commonly available (extra fee may apply) - 24/7 support available - Fresh sheets, towels, and bedding provided - Tons of soaps, lotion, trash bags, detergents, and more provided - Comforter and duvet program - Iron and ironing board - Daily snow removal as needed - Additional sanitization strategy IMPORTANT TO NOTE: 1. Both the VHR Permit Number 617031 and Transient Occupancy Tax Number. 2. Number of bedrooms and maximum occupancy not including childred 5 and under. Maximum occupancy is 8 (excluding children 5 and under) . 3. quiet hours must be observed between 10 PM and 8 AM. 4. Notification that occupancy is limited TO EIGHT during quiet hours. - 8 Occupants MAX - (5 & Under not included) - 3 cars MAX - no exception. 2 in garage, 1 in driveway. - Please put trash in bear box with lids on the cans, or in the garage. Booking party will receive a notification via text to notify if noise is above a certain level. - Accessibility: The home has several stairs into the house and to lower level. The main floor does include the kitchen, master, another full bath and bedroom reachable once up the front steps. We expect all guests to be respectful, mature, and responsible. We have a ZERO tolerance policy abusive and negligent behavior, loud groups, etc. If you would like to squeeze 25 people into a house and party hard, this is not the home. Please treat our home as your own! Guests agree to comply with El Dorado County Vacation Home Rental ordinance, and failing to do so may result in egregious penalties, fines ($1,000+), and even eviction. See county website for current VHR ordinance, as this is incorporated into this agreement. We are very eager to share our home! If you have any questions, want to negotiate on a longer stay, or anything else at all - please let me know! Thanks for looking; we hope you’ll decide to stay! GUEST COVID-19 NOTICE We have developed a COVID-19 Plan which includes several additional measures and modifications to our operations and policies to help mitigate the risk of COVID-19 transmission. Some of these are identified below. Despite these efforts, we cannot eliminate the risk of COVID-19 transmission so please be extremely cautious and careful and travel at your own risk! Best Practice: Please wash hand thoroughly, especially when leaving or entering home. Use sanitizer where available as extra measure. Be mindful of guidance for physical distancing and use of face coverings when in public. Symptomatic / Positive Test: If you are knowingly / suspected to be infected with COVID-19 please contact us right away. Extra measures will be taken in such cases. Mid Stay Cleaning: Mid-stay cleanings are generally avoided unless the guest will be out of property for 30 hours. We can drop off fresh linen, towels, supplies, and haul trash off site. Increased Surface Cleaning and Disinfecting: Surfaces and highly touched items are cleaned and dis-infected Linens and Trash: Sheets and towels are professionally laundered every-time, and trash is hauled off site promptly. Staff Policy: Staff are instructed to wear PPE and face coverings while operating in home and are not to work if exhibiting symptoms. Hand Sanitizer and Comforters: Where approved, we are installing permanent hand sanitizing systems, new comforters, a fresh comforter casing system every booking, and eliminating decorative bed pillows. Together, we can create safer environment in this home and in Truckee / Tahoe. Please be aware, mindful, and courteous to COVID-19 protocol and concerns. Other things to note BE BEAR AWARE- remove all food from your vehicles, or else you will have a late night visit from a four hundred pound uninvited guest! CHECK THE WEATHER BEFORE YOU ARRIVE, we live in the mountains, weather can be extreme and change rapidly. If traveling during the winter carry snow chains if you do not have 4wheel drive. We live on the outskirts of town and the plows can be slow to come out to the side roads if the storms are very big! SNOW REMOVAL We have a contract for driveway snow removal. Our snow removal operations will begin once a day after snowfall accumulation's reach 4-6 inches or greater on our route. We have no control of when the come to plow our driveway. We have shovels in the entry to clear steps and driveway if required. CAUTION: Exercise extreme caution as areas may be slippery and icy before and after snow removal operations have taken place. The County of El Dorado plows the roads outside of the city limits. Berms created after snow removal operators have cleared a driveway will be removed on their next snow clearing day. Snow removal contracts only covers the driveway and within two feet of any structure/car. We provide shovels to help you clear the steps and any part of the driveway you need to.About pets:Pets allowed: dogs less than 50 lbs per pet (limit one pet total).About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:We strongly recommend all travelers to purchase travel insurance. A comfortable home base This location suited all of my groups requirements:Close enough to the resorts in South TahoeClean houseSpace for cooking and eatingParking for our carsGear storageClose enough to places for food and drinksWhen I reserved this spot I believe it was a newer listing but my group was glad that we found this place on such a busy weekend.Definitely keeping this in mind for future trips up to South Tahoe during the winter season

Wedding Weekend This was a perfect location in South Lake Tahoe BUT the best part was the HOME itself. This was everything it was advertised. The owner was very kind...going the extra mile when we had any concerns or questions.

Excellent The Nash Cabin was a nice cozy home and I had great communication with the owners/managers. The home was very family friendly and well maintained. I couldn't have asked for a nicer getaway with friends.
