Visited South Shields for two nights on business this week 09/04-11/04/25. From start to finish the staff on site were so incredibly helpful and interactive it was rather refreshing. Special thanks to Sam & Helen on reception and also two ladies in the buffet/ breakfast kitchen, they were awesome. Room was clean and presentable and breakfast ( buffet style) was great. Please be aware that only breakfast is available at the moment as the neighbouring pud has been sold and is currently closed. I would recommend a 5 min drive to Vespa Italian and steak house on A194 or you can walk in to South Shields ( a lovely 1 hour leisurely walk) and visit Ocean Rd where there is a choice of multiple curry restaurants and bars. The beach is fantastic and there is a fun fair for younger members ( or big kids!) but this was closed on our visit. All in all a great town to visit. THANK YOU EVERYONE ❤️❤️

We stay all over the country in Premier Inns and we have to say that this one was not only one of the cheapest but it was one of the best. The staff are just lovely, the rooms are clean and bed very comfortable, breakfast was wonderful and again staff at breakfast fabulous. Thank you so much and we will be back !

Fantastic. Stayed two nights did a lot of sightseeing own transport and METRO. The place was spotless rooms and communal areas. All staff were so friendly and helpful. They appear to work as a great team. Position of hotel isa little bit out of the way but not too far from South Shields and all amenities. Or popping over to North Shields on the ferry and fish quay! Near to a wide variety of places to eat. Sadly no on-site food (apart from breakfast which was great).

Spot on hotel was suitable for going to party near by. Staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely and clean! Gutted to see pub next door was closed but was happy to see they had a new breakfast room

Comfortable room and facilities excellent customer service by the staff on day shift and night shift. The new bathrooms are very easy to use. The pillows and bed made falling asleep easy. Recommended for short stays and the breakfast is usually very good.

My room was really big, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfasts were amazing plenty of food with lots of choice. A special mention for Valerie, our breakfast server for the four days we were guests, there was 6 of us in our family group, one required gluten free and another has a lactose intolerance, Valerie remembered every morning without any prompting and she had gluten free toast and a jug of oat milk ready for us, it made us all feel very welcome. She is an asset to Premier Inn. The only thing we were disappointed with was that the hotel has no restaurant or bar amenities so we had to eat out or order in .

Brook and Asha in the breakfast room were so friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond, and all with a smile. They offered to froth some soy milk for my sister (without laughing) and were so patient with us as we were there from 06:30 to 08:30 chatting. Thank you both

I thought that the overall price was very expensive for what appeared to be a standard room, in the middle of nowhere with one of the worst views ever! The reception area felt tired and worn and there was a smell of stale tobocao as you walked. The room felt clean and the bed was comfortable. A special shout out to Valerie at breakfast time (a tribute to the company) who was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful - and cheery!

Brilliant stay! The staff were fantastic and couldn’t do enough for you! Their joyfulness was contagious! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Breakfast was delicious! The kitchen staff were happy and enjoyed a sing song to the radio which made for a great environment and free entertainment too!
