The accommodation was tastefully decorated and designed. They had bathroom fixtures like Hansgrohe & even provided a Dyson hair dryer. The room created a retreat-like atmosphere, it was very relaxing. They also have a dedicated laundry area. Had early morning activities both days so ended up not having breakfast but the aunty at the kitchen allowed us to take away some of the breakfast items. She was really sweet and helpful. When we arrived, the owner arranged a car to pick us up and gave us a fruit basket, biscuits etc. His hospitality was very welcoming and we really enjoyed our stay. He also arranged for a car to send us off which was very helpful early in the morning. The view from the room was really pretty as you can see the mountain and it overlooked the ancient town.

Even before we reached the hotel, they reached out to inquire if we needed assistance traveling from Dali, showcasing their commitment to guest comfort. Upon arrival, we encountered an issue with paying our driver, but the hotel staff and manager stepped in personally to resolve it, ensuring the driver was paid and allowing us to settle with the hotel directly. This kind of hands-on, problem-solving service was truly remarkable and reflective of their par-excellence standards. The hotel itself is a masterpiece of thoughtful design and customer care. The room amenities were top-notch, meticulously curated to enhance the guest experience, demonstrating the management’s attention to detail. The floor-to-ceiling windows in our room offered breathtaking views of Dragon Lake reflecting the majestic Snow Dragon Mountain, with the serene surrounding nature elevating the experience to another level. Even our bathtub provided a stunning view, adding a touch of luxury and tranquility to our stay. Every staff member was courteous, professional, and eager to assist, whether it was arranging local excursions, recommending dinners and restaurants, booking spa sessions, or scheduling a photoshoot. Their coordination and professionalism were next-level, making every moment of our stay seamless and enjoyable. Despite the language barrier, as I don’t speak Chinese, the staff bridged this gap effortlessly, ensuring clear communication and making us feel completely at ease. This level of care and coordination is rare and deserves high praise. Our time at Bantang·White House was, without a doubt, one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Lijiang. Kudos to the entire team for their outstanding work—thank you for making our stay unforgettable!

Nous avons eu un séjour incroyablement agréable à Mo Shan, avec une chambre calme et confortable qui a fourni un endroit idéal pour se reposer après avoir explorer la vieille ville. Le bain de printemps chaud était particulièrement relaxant et la terrasse séparée ajoutait un joli touche à l'expérience globale. Le niveau de soins et d'attention des hôtes était réellement utile, ils étaient toujours utiles, ils assistaient à organiser et à réserver des voyages de jour, et même à préparer le petit déjeuner de départ pour les départs de matin. La disponibilité d'une salle de bains à propre service a également été très appréciée pendant nos voyages. Enfin, le soutien avec bagage surtout de la coordination et de l'aide au transport de l'intérieur de la vieille ville jusqu'au point de pick-up de taxi a fait une différence réelle et a montré une véritable attention. Globalement, un séjour réfléchi et bien géré, combinant confort, hospitalité et soutien pratique pour les voyageurs.

We recently stayed at Paralloge and had a truly memorable experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere and thoughtful touches throughout. What stood out most, however, was the service from our butler 大波. From the moment we arrived, he was attentive and professional, and genuinely considerate, anticipating needs before we even had to ask. His presence was seamless, never intrusive yet always there when it mattered. Whether it was coordinating details, providing helpful recommendations, or ensuring everything ran smoothly, the experience felt personal and elevated. Thank you to the entire team, and a special thank you to 大波for making our stay so exceptional.

La chambre est superbe, j'ai adoré cette maison d'hôtes avec sa petite cour, on sent le parfum des fleurs dès qu'on sort. Le service est très attentionné, les tantes nous ont aidés avec les bagages, c'était très prévenant. Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux, et il y avait même des chats pour nous tenir compagnie ~ Je recommande vivement cet endroit pour des vacances, il y a aussi des activités en cabane, comme la fabrication et la peinture de chats en tuile ~

En venant à Lijiang, je voulais allier la commodité de la vieille ville au sentiment de vacances, alors j'ai choisi l'InterContinental Lijiang Ancient Town Resort. L'hôtel est situé juste à côté de la porte sud de la vieille ville de Dayan, avec une petite porte privée qui mène directement à la vieille ville. Quand j'étais fatigué de me promener, je pouvais retourner dans ma chambre à tout moment en utilisant ma carte, sans avoir à traîner mes valises sur les pavés. Le hall d'entrée, réputé pour être le plus beau, est à la hauteur de sa réputation. Les immenses baies vitrées du hall font face à la montagne enneigée du Dragon de Jade, et le restaurant offre également cette vue. Par beau temps, on peut admirer le lever du soleil sur les montagnes dorées le matin, à condition que le temps soit suffisamment clair. Au restaurant du petit-déjeuner, on peut déguster des nouilles de riz « Xiaoguo » et des gâteaux aux fleurs de rose tout en admirant la montagne enneigée, ce qui est extrêmement apaisant. L'ensemble de l'hôtel est une version miniature de la vieille ville, avec de petits ponts et ruisseaux, des puits à trois yeux et de grandes roues à eau. Se promener dans la cour le matin et le soir est particulièrement paisible, et chaque photo prise donne l'impression d'une œuvre d'art ancienne. La plus grande surprise de ce séjour a été le service de Lisa. Avant mon arrivée, Lisa a confirmé mes besoins via WeChat. Il y a des voiturettes électriques disponibles à tout moment dans le complexe, un parking gratuit, une piscine chauffée et un spa. La chambre réservée comprenait un minibar gratuit et une simple séance photo de voyage. Le petit-déjeuner reflétait également les spécialités du Yunnan, avec des nouilles de riz « Xiaoguo » fraîchement préparées, du riz **, du tofu « Baojiang », des gâteaux aux fleurs fraîches et d'autres spécialités du Yunnan. Il y avait aussi des options occidentales, un choix varié.

Hotel located at Yuhu village, going in and out was a hassle as we have to inform the hotel of the car plate number in advance. And it's approx. an hr ride from the Lijiang railway station. There are quite afew popular cafes and restaurants within walking distance in the village. It would be a good location if u would like to explore around the village. However, wouldn't recommend one to explore the village at night as it's v dark at night with minimal street lights. Beddings were clean and comfortable. There's heater in the room so it's not cold at all and shower heater is consistent. The mountain view was magnificent. Hotel provides western and chinese cuisine to choose for breakfast and we can arrange activities; hiking, tour around the village etc. Room was equipped with a bluetooth speaker, Dyson hairdryer, air purifier and complimentary snacks!! Lastly, I would like to commend receptionist, Ann for her great service and patience to guide me through booking tickets online. Overalls, a comfortable stay i would definitely stay here again!!

C'est absolument incroyable de pouvoir admirer le lever du soleil sur les montagnes depuis son lit tous les matins. Cet hôtel est vraiment le nec plus ultra pour des vacances ; tout y est parfait, le service est impeccable et la restauration vaut le détour. Je tiens à mentionner en particulier un jeune homme charmant qui conduisait la navette : il était incroyablement chaleureux et sincère, passionné par son travail, et son sourire radieux égayait nos journées à chaque fois que nous le croisions. Même si les installations de l'hôtel ne sont pas les plus récentes, elles sont très bien entretenues, ce qui rend le séjour extrêmement confortable.

Hotel reception contactable via wechat and response were usually prompt. Hotel provide buggy to bring us and our luggages to our rooms upon check-in and also upon our request. Hotel environment is comfortable and relaxing, with view of the snow mountain. Rooms are clean and spacious too. Location is close to shuhe old town, just across the road. Hotel also provide laundry room with detergent. However, do remember to collect your clothes on time because when we went back a few mins late to collect our clothes, we found them taken out of the machine already. The photography service provided by the hotel in my opinion is average only. Hotel include 3 free photos, additional at 50rmb each (not sure if the price varies due to our country of origin). We waited 2 days for the supposedly edited photos but when we receive the photos, they were same as what we saw during the photo selection. Not sure why we needed to wait though. We did not try the tie-dye experience as we were tired after the photography session. Breakfast include noodle, bun, dumpling, eggs, vege, bacon, toast but it would be better if the hotel can provide different items daily as we stayed 4 nights and breakfast items for every morning are the same. Last but not least, the hotel service even include drafting a review for me to copy and paste but I prefer to write my own. :)

J'ai réservé deux jours pour un voyage en solo. La chambre était spacieuse et l'établissement dispose d'un ascenseur, ce qui est plus pratique que de loger dans la vieille ville. Mon séjour étant principalement axé sur la randonnée, mes vêtements étaient souvent trempés de sueur et couverts de poussière. La machine à laver séchante mise à disposition était très pratique, mais malheureusement, le deuxième jour, la fonction de séchage ne fonctionnait plus, ce qui est vraiment dommage. La chambre est bien équipée. Le seul petit bémol est que, bien que les équipements soient là, ils ne sont pas tous parfaits. Par exemple, l'enceinte intelligente n'était pas connectée à Internet, rendant les commandes vocales inutilisables. L'établissement devrait probablement s'assurer qu'elle soit connectée. Globalement, c'est un excellent choix pour ce prix. J'y retournerai sans hésiter la prochaine fois.
