Le restaurant est très confortable et très confortable. Le personnel du bureau de réception n'était pas très familiarisé avec son travail. 1. Je ne trouve pas ma réservation. 2. Mal calculé le nombre de nuits à séjourner 3. N'avait pas réalisé que la chambre était prépayée et allait être facturée à nouveau. Mais il a reconnu ses erreurs.

We knew the service would be good as soon as we booked, and within hours we received a welcome email, listing the ways we could contact them if we needed to. On the pick up at the airport, they were speedy and efficient and the taxi ride only took us 20 minutes with traffic. As we walked through the door we were blown away by the interior decoration, only then to find that hotel had been a former palace! Historic artifacts and pictures were strewn through the hallways and the outside only matched the royal feel with perfection. We stayed in the royal suite, with a big bed and balcony. The staff were great, the breakfast was standard for off peak times and although the location isn't in the depth of Thamel, the area most will go out for eating and drinking, it was within 30 minutes drive of most landmarks and as it was the ambassedy/ office worker area, there was a nice vibe. There were some things that can't be controlled. The hotel did a good job of providing heat as the weather in February is still chilly. The pollution was real. Especially as you walk nearer the streets, something to think about if you are sensitive to this. Apart from that, It was all really wonderful. it was same as photo though the size could be misleading, black water came out from the room where hotel staff were asked to follow at once though left the water for me to clean up myself room electricity suplly was stop twice on the last night due to unknown reason.. staff including the reservation manager were very helpful but i will explore other hotel next time if available

Everything was very good. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was abundant, and the restaurant was very good. The staff were extremely kind, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything. The only downside — and I’m sorry to say this — is the nightclub next door, which made it difficult for me to sleep. Every night, the music went on from the evening until five in the morning. The hotel management should consider taking action regarding the nightclub, as it significantly affects guests’ ability to rest.

Excellent Stay and Warm Hospitality at Mercure Kathmandu This was my first time visiting Kathmandu, and Mercure Kathmandu truly left a wonderful impression. From the moment we arrived, the service and hospitality stood out. A special mention to Paras, who picked us up from the airport and helped us with check-in. He was exceptionally kind and professional, and even shared some very useful information about getting around Kathmandu — which really helped us make the most of our trip. We had booked a room with breakfast for only one person, but the hotel kindly extended complimentary breakfast for both of us — a gesture we truly appreciated. The room itself was awesome — clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The toiletries were complete, even including a razor and shaving cream, which was a nice touch. Overall, the staff throughout our stay were consistently helpful and friendly, making us feel very welcome. Highly recommend Mercure Kathmandu to anyone visiting the city — great service, comfort, and warm hospitality all around!

Nice Old Hotel, Great Staff with few needs to improve. Swimming pool is totally disappointment. Better to shut down, than keep running and not swimmable, waist of energy. The water is dirty, no star at all. The lobby, the room and Ghurka bar are still great. 2 power shutdowns in 1 day, I believe they are struggling with power shortages due to dark lounges. Breakfast was so so, coffee or tea should be not a challenge to serve first, sometimes took half of meal before they come. Many Tables are not stable and aligned, egg can easily roll over to other side. Atleast 3 tables on my experience. Room is comfortable, nice bed and always fresh linen. Only noisy from AC , maintenance team came twice on my room to fix, though transfer was offered on my last 2 days. Managers should not standing in buffet line, either they should help the line staffs or directing the team, talking business in public is not of our guests concern. Front desk Trainee, has good presence, I thought first he is manager. A lot can be improved and polished, the hotel has a great potential, nice design, great facilities and great staffs. I wish that management should look all themselves and review those small details.

The room made a decent first impression and did the bare minimum. But, it quickly became clear that it’s best suited for a very short stay. The bed was comfortable enough. Overall, the room is fine if you’re just passing through, but anything longer starts to feel like stretching it. Staff presence around the hotel was limited. They clearly run on a lean operation, which can go either way. The guard in front of the elevator stood out in the best possible way and added a genuinely warm, human touch, which helped balance things out. At check-in, I was given two complimentary cocktail coupons for the upstairs bar, which immediately lifted my spirits. This was a place I had enjoyed many times before and often recommended to friends and family. I had good memories of the atmosphere, the food, and the general vibe, so I went in with high hopes. In the past I had written raving 5-star reviews of their restaurant food and amazing service! Unfortunately, the experience that followed didn’t live up to those expectations. What should have been a simple, enjoyable night out unraveled into confusion and unwelcoming interactions. Small moments piled up, the mood shifted, and it became clear that the experience had gone off the rails. Rather than force it, my group and I decided to take our time and money elsewhere. Sometimes you read the room and move on. I returned to the hotel later that night and stayed over. Took a hot shower in the morning, loved the smell of their body wash, btw! Another brief interaction during checkout reinforced the same theme: rigid, abrupt, and lacking the kind of hospitality that makes guests feel welcome. All in all, it’s disappointing to see a place I once enjoyed and freely recommended lose its consistency and warmth. I’m no longer comfortable recommending it, and I’m not sure I would choose to return. As for the unused cocktail coupon, I still have it. Any takers?

Les installations environnementales sont magnifiques, la piscine dispose d'un restaurant d'hôtel La chambre est très grande et la terrasse est ouverte. Et vous pouvez regarder à distance les montagnes  Un petit déjeuner gratuit et de nombreuses options Il y a des fruits de bienvenue gratuits à la fin du moisson. Il y a un personnel qui envoie le couloir gratuit à la chambre. Le serveur va continuer à aider à faire la bagage dans la chambre. Le service est très bon en général.

Après plusieurs voyages au Népal, j'ai finalement décidé de me traiter avec un séjour dans la célèbre maison d'hôtes de Kathmandu. Alors je suis contente de le faire. Toute paix, grâce, charme et beauté .. et bien sûr, l'histoire !

Room was very small which I did not expect . The room I book was deluxe room but it does not look like at all . I told them upon check out but I got the answer ,it is a deluxe room so better property should change the name as standard. Staff was telling something we should ask upon check if want to have bigger room or something which does not make any sense to me. They should give us more information or choice if there is . They should not pass the ball to us saying we are the one should ask for it. Anyway staff were polite and very helpful .
