"We stayed at The Dewan by Royal Naqash for one night during our visit to Srinagar. The property is well maintained, the rooms are comfortable, and overall it is a good option for exploring the city. Our package included both breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately, we were not satisfied with the dinner. The menu offered very limited variety, and the food lacked the flavour we were expecting. Srinagar is a wonderful city for food lovers, with numerous restaurants serving authentic Kashmiri cuisine. I would recommend booking the hotel with breakfast only and enjoying your dinners at local restaurants instead. As we had to leave for Sonmarg at 6:00 a.m., we requested a packed breakfast. Unfortunately, that too was quite disappointing in terms of both quality and selection. Overall, the hotel scores well on comfort and location, but its food is an area where significant improvement is needed. If you stay here, skip the dinner package and explore Srinagar's excellent local food scene."

"We stayed in Lalit Srinagar on 16th and 17th June 2026. Our Room was in the new wing , it was decent but the WASHROOM EXHAUST Fan system doesn't work at all. It gets stuffy and smelly. Overall staff is Friendly but the IN ROOM DINING SENIOR MANAGER AAMIR AHMED KHAN WAS VERY VERY RUDE. Please be cautious ❌❌❌❌ since he screams at his customers. Multiple Guests staying in this hotel had complained against him. I was trying to order a Mushroom soup with chicken , he outright refused to take the order as he said only the veg option is available. When I asked him to connect me to the chef he started yelling at me and arguing over this petty issue. I even spoke to the Manager about this issue but they still haven't apologized for the same ."

They were always ready to accomodate all our special requests with such a warm and big smile. They made sure my entire family and my Lil daughter felt comfortable and homely during our entire stay and made every effort from small to big to ensure it. They made my daughter's birthday very special that we will always remember. Everyone is so so hardworking, polite and greets you with a beautiful warm smile every single time. The rooms had good electricity backup all the time, even they provided us with hot water when the power was cut off. This was the place where we all felt BAD of leaving as if we were checking out from our own home. The property is located at an extremely beautiful location with views of astonishing mountains and river flowing next to it. Its much more beautiful than the pictures, truly heaven in Kashmir. It's extremely difficult to find all in one hotels at a tourist destinations, we were glad we found Upani and it will be our all time fav and go to place everytime we will visit srinagar. Hope things remain the same everytime that we visit :)"

"Peaceful location, neat and clean room without any noise or disturbance. Badminton and basketball court with Gym facility, always ready to help staff made our 3-nights stay in North Srinagar memorable. Buffet breakfast was not excellent but good. As an honest feedback, south indian items (Dakshin Tiffin) need improvement. Kahwa is a must try. True to the spirits of Kashmiriyat, all staff are guests-friendly, especially Mr Altaf, Head of F&B was very responsive to our breakfast needs by arranging 3 packs when we had to start at 6.30 A.M. for ********. In short, good value for money. Reception can arrange taxi and travel services for you for an extra payment but we had opted for app-based services of Uber."
