Balsam Hollow is a newly built, charming rustic cabin that was created from the heart for our family, friends and you. From the all-wood exterior and interior, to the log railings in the loft, staircase and covered porch with wrap-around deck, our mission is to give our guests a true Adirondack Experience. Enjoy our fire pit and on the 10 acre property you can snow shoe, cross-country ski and hike. We have a tankless water system to supply you with endless hot water. Surrounded by nature, secluded and private, yet centrally located to Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, and Rainbow Lake with 25 miles of connecting waterways. Even though we are tucked off the beaten trail we are close to so much adventure! Ice skating (pond style or rinks including the Olympic Oval in Lake Placid) Whiteface Mountain Ski Resort (18 miles) Bobsled rides, Toboggan Shoot, Sled Dog rides, Boating, Canoeing, Mountain Beaches, Swimming Holes, White Water Rafting, Hiking, Mountain Biking, and so much more! Our pricing starts at a rate for 2 and with each additional guest it is $15.00 per night per guest. For the security of our gursts and the safety of our home, we have an external security camera located in the driveway overlooking the drive with the home in the background.
