Hôtels 2 étoiles à Nikkō

Excellent price-performance ratio hotel with the best logistics you can have in Kinugawa. The facilities with garden are fresh, service is top grade. As for onsen, it is separated, but it has only one bath, which is expected from tiny hotels. The only little nuisance you can encounter is the late night noise coming from opening doors. Overall the experience was outstanding, I will choose this place again.

The guesthouse is quite a way from Nikko town (10-15 mins by bus / 1 hour walk) but is in a good location for getting to the shrines or to Lake Ashi - there's a bus stop close by. The guesthouse was homely and had 2 private onsen. Our room was comfortable enough although the en-suite was very tiny! The host was welcoming but didn't speak any English which meant we had to communicate by translating on our phones. We booked to have breakfast at the guesthouse, but didn't realise that for booking the dinner we needed to give 24 hours+ notice so missed out!

Les petits peuples japonais ont trop peu de commentaires. Chaque fois que le prochain semble être ouvert, il est très recommandé et très intéressant. Les conditions d'hygiène et les installations de chauffage sont conformes aux attentes. La plus grande surprise est la position, située à une porte pleine de chaussures, jette les bagages et jette un truc rapide sur les attractions de personne vide. L'oreille est un bruit d'eau, et la pizza est assis devant une série de styles différents, C'est une expérience mystérieuse. Aller à la gare, un peu inconvenant, retourner à la voiture, le prix est acceptable, le voyage unique est d'environ 1500 yen.

Nous avons été hébergés par un couple de personnes âgées et les membres de sa famille. Ils étaient super mignons, amicaux et polis. C'est comme leur petite entreprise familiale, au rez-de-chaussée il y avait un restaurant occidental, au deuxième étage se trouvaient toutes les chambres d'hôtes. Ils parlent un peu anglais, donc la communication n'a posé aucun problème. Ce que nous avons aimé dans ce séjour, c'est qu'à part la chambre avec une vue magnifique sur le lac, l'hôte a été très serviable en nous permettant de stocker nos bagages chez eux même bien avant notre heure d'enregistrement. De plus, il a même proposé de nous envoyer à la laverie, alors que nous lui posions simplement des questions sur la lessive. Ce qui m'a le plus surpris, c'est qu'il est même allé nous chercher à la laverie une fois que nous avions fini. Je reviendrai certainement à cet endroit si je suis à Nikko ! Bravo ! Super hôte !! 😁

I went to Yumoto for hiking and found this wonderful place. The staffs are very helpful. Although, they cannot fully communicate in English. They are trying their best to make sure my stay is the best experience I have. Room is clean and has no AC.  Breakfast and dinner are traditional Japanese course and I love them.  About Onsen, it might not be in the best condition but it is good enough.  If I have a chance to return to Nikko, I will stay at this place again.

Most of the reviews are outdated so I thought I'd give an updated review. For one thing, there is WiFi (I have informed the landlady that the website indicates otherwise). This place is a traditional-style inn. You'll be sleeping in a futon (some Google-fu should help you know how to use one), use two pairs of slippers (one for moving around the house, one exclusively for the toilet) and will also bathe in a Japanese-style shared bathroom. The front gate and bathroom close at 10pm, which is not an issue as everywhere in Nikko closes early and it's too dark to hike outdoors (in early Autumn). We loved using the onsen to relax after a day of strolling around and hiking, and the delicious Japanese-style breakfast was lovingly prepared by a friendly old granny. The premises are old but well-maintained. Toilets, bathroom and onsen were great but we were there during off-peak season so we didn't need to share so much. Should we return to Nikko, this place will be our first choice!

What an amazing place to stay - Kas and his wife made us extremely welcome and provided excellent restaurant recommendations as well as places to visit. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the breakfast was excellent (with juice, yogurt, ham and omelette and fruit, plus toast and tea/coffee). The bedrooms are large and the bed are comfy. The shower was also super clean. It is uphill from Nikko Tobu station but you can easily get a taxi from the station for 1,000/1,100 (£5/6) which saves carrying the luggage. Short walk to Kirifuri waterfall which is beautiful and if you’re lucky you’ll get to see the monkeys along the way. I couldn’t recommend more highly and look forward to coming back in the future!

숙소에 늦게 도착하여 체크인 시간이 지았음에도 불구하고 잘 받아주셔서 감사했습니다. 숙소 내는 넓고 깨끗했으며 목욕탕 운영 시간도 길어서 좋았습니다.

Het is niet echt nieuw meer, voor een winkels, moet je een eindje voor lopen. Ik had geen auto ter beschikking, maar het was er schoon, goede bedden, een fijn bad en douche. Prima plek en niet duur, zorg wel dat je voor 21.00 incheckt anders zijn ze gesloten.

Tout était super! Nous avons vécu ici pendant trois jours en avril 2024. Les hôtes sont très aimables et attentifs. Le petit déjeuner et le dîner étaient très goûteux et grands, donc nous ne voulions même pas dîner pendant la marche de l'après-midi. La chambre est propre et propre. Le lieu est calme et beau. Près d'un supermarché grand avec tout ce qui est nécessaire. Le bus est à l'arrêt de l'eau et le lac est également très proche. À proximité aussi est une piste publique, il y a aussi un bon repos. Nous aimé tout en général très bien! Merci !
