Two Brickground was originally two of a terrace of four brick makers cottages - where many of the bricks in the local villages were produced. The four cottages were converted to create two large semi detached cottages. We are 100 yards from the River Ant - where the bricks were transported by barge to the rest of the county.The cottage has a very large Lounge/ Dining room with a gorgeous woodburner, a separate kitchen/breakfast room, 5 bedrooms (one downstairs) and 3 bathrooms (one en-suite and one downstairs). The best feature of the cottage though is the outside space. There is a very large patio with furniture and a barbecue plus around half an acre of garden - surrounded by farmland. Nestled amongst fields on the edge of the peaceful Norfolk Broads village of Dilham just 8 miles from the North Norfolk coast, No. 2 Brick Kiln Barns is one of a small collection of 4 dog friendly barn conversions. No. 2 has two fully enclosed outdoor areas. Step out of the french doors from the open plan living space onto the south facing patio fully enclosed by 3ft fencing and enjoy the open field views with a coffee, or access the south-west facing lawned garden from the hallway to soak in the sunset from the private hot tub. The two outside areas are joined by gated access so you can always keep your pooch and children in sight. No. 2 also benefits from gated access to our additional field (not fenced) perfect for zoomies! No. 2 has its own dedicated parking space approximately 20 metres from the entrance and we have provided a wheeled trolley to help with the luggage. Please enquire about additional parking.The dog and family friendly village pub serving food is a 10 minute (flat) stroll away and you can pick up groceries in the local towns of Wroxham, North Walsham and Stalham offering a choice of shops, supermarkets, bakeries, and butchers along with cafes, bars, restaurants, and takeaways that will deliver. The Norfolk Broads start at the end of the driveway where you can fish or launch your own canoe or paddle board, the stunning North Norfolk Coast is just 8 miles away offering a choice of dog friendly beaches, and the city of Norwich is 14 miles away. For walking you can access the Weaver's Way and the North Walsham and Dilham Canal footpath from the village and Bacton Wood offering off lead shady walks is a 10 min drive. We welcome children and up to 2 dogs (enquire about more).We can also supply travel cot, highchair, baby bath and shower stool.Hot tub: Please note that in line with Health & Safety Executive Guidelines the hot tub is completely drained, cleaned, refilled and reheating between each set of guests and whilst we cannot guarantee that it will be up to temperature and ready to use on your first night we can guarantee you will be the only people to sit in that water. Lovely self-contained, single-storey barn in North Norfolk. Wood burning stove, dishwasher and washing machine, underfloor heating, top of the range Hypnos beds and good showers! One en-suite on the master bedroom and one family bathroom. Good WiFi. Smart tv’s in 2/3 bedrooms. 15 mins from Cromer beach. Great for families, birders and coastal lovers. Well behaved dogs welcome. Please note there are 2 steps up to the Barnhouse door and it is a gravel drive way. Travel cots and high chairs available on request. The Barn sits on the owners grounds.The spaceGuests have their own parking and a small patio area outside the main bedroom with a table and six chairs as in the photos. Please note: There is not an enclosed space to let your dog out on its own. The Barnhouse has two step up to the barn door and it is a gravel driveway.Other things to noteThe blind in the living room opens and closes.
