Accomodation is located on a separate island, which is a gem itself - stunning shoreline, lovely park for walks, a very peaceful place which is also very safe. Great location - road connecting it to the mainland, and just 10 minutes drive from Knysna harbour with all the best eat out places around. We've been treated by Pierre, who is the most friendly and welcoming host. He has designed the place with his love for sailing and the sea in general - everything is very stylish, clean and bright. He is also originally from Belgium, which means you'll also benefit from delicious Belgium waffles as a nice desert treat for your breakfast. You can also ask him about best places to visit, not just around Knysna but all across the West Cape. And there will also be a special something for dog lovers, as there are 2 absolutely adorable labradoodles hanging around when allowed by guests, and they really love to cuddle 🤗 Wish we could stay for more, but will definitely come back next time I'll be around.

Hospitality was excellent and the views are breathtaking. Enjoyed my stay and braai was a cherry on top.

L'ensemble de la fenêtre est le paysage du lac de la mer de la mer, et il se réveille demain matin dans la couleur du lac 🌄 Le peuple est dans la moitié de la montagne, la vue est excellente, chaque coin est très dégustable, même le petit déjeuner est raffiné comme des œuvres d'art 🍳 Kevin est très gentil, il se distingue également par le moment romantique de la bière sud-africaine ｜ après le dîner. Le propriétaire de l'immeuble accueille chaque invité avec un cœur.

We had a very friendly welcome from our hostess with welcome drinks, a small snack and a scented damp refresher towel. The grounds are beautiful - lush, green and well kept. We were bumped up to a lovely room with a big balcony and view over the pool area and river. The room was very clean and neat. breakfast at the on-site restaurant was delicious and staff were friendly. (the only minus... the coffee was not hot). Another great thing is that all the activities (canoeing on the river, hiking, mashie golf, etc are included in your room fee! We would definitely visit again!!

La chambre n'a pas de climatisation, trois chambres et deux gardes-four, une cuisine, un lit double, deux grands lits (1.5 m), adapté à la maison. Il y a une différence entre le paysage maritime et le paysage non maritime. Le paysage autour de lui est très bon. Vous pouvez voir le tsunami demain matin, le soleil est très beau le soir, la plage peut descendre, les vagues sont très grandes. Il y a un restaurant, qui peut cuisiner et faire du café.

This is possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in!!! The staff and cottages were amazing!!! Let's start with the (only small) negatives... the cottages are a little remote from Knysna centre so you are reliant on using Uber. There is a wonderful on-site pub, but it stops serving food quite early. Plus it is hard to get cars back after 10pm at night. Therefore, some people may be better off staying more centrally. HOWEVER, nowhere else will match the beauty and tranquility of these cottages! The perfect place to relax! Stock up from a supermarket and build a new home!

Un hébergement unique avec une vue magnifique. Une maison très goûtante, presque une œuvre d'art. Malheureusement, la piscine était un peu verte et trop froide. Je resterais ici.
