Nice size room and comfortable bed, had anything you would need for an overnight stay

The hotel could do more to help disabled guests. They use the wheelchair symbol but not everyone who has mobility difficulties relies permanently on a wheelchair. I had difficulties getting my wheelchair into the room, and had to take my luggage off the wheelchair and fold it up to get in. The receptionist staff were really pleasant and knowledgeable about the area and the setting was really peaceful.

Stayed here overnight, hotel is lovely and staff helpful. Breakfast was awful, had to ask for glasses and plates and the cutlery looked dirty. The breakfast when it arrived was not great at all, bacon was thick and clearly the griddle had not been cleaned before cooking from the last batch of bacon as there were black bits all over it so that didn'tget eaten.. Sausages were cheap and nasty and the beans I suspect are not heinz. The tea and coffee was lukewarm at best and the only coffee option was filter. It honestly was the worst breakfast I have ever had in a premier inn and I wish I had gone to greggs up the road to get a bacon barm and coffee for a third of the price. If I ever stay here again I won't be paying £11 for a breakfast that a local greasy spoon could do a better job of sadly.

Our service woman Maral was amazing and very professional at her job, extremely happy and inviting and lovely smile, she helped us with an email problem and it got sorted out within fifteen minutes, I will definitely use this place again, love to you.

On the plus side - it's location, very close to the centre of Stockport. Our room was in the annex and was tiny. There was a tiny shower room instead of a bathroom, you could barely move in it. The whole annex building smelt of damp. The room, especially the bathroom, looked as it the cleaning had been rushed - quite dirty in places. We had breakfast twice - took 10 minutes for anyone to come and get our order then another 10 minutes or so for them to bring the food, which was never quite what we ordered. On our third morning, we skipped breakfast and went to eat at a local pub. The service in the restaurant was appalling, rude and inefficient. The bar was closed by 10pm on a Saturday night. The whole place looked incredibly run down and delapidated Shan't be staying there again

Bedroom/shower facilities and food were all good value but the stand out from our 1 night visit (Sun 25th May) was the chap on reception (same chap who greeted us Sun late pm and checked us out Mon am) - so friendly and lovely sense of humour Also mentions to the chap serving in the attached Hungry Horse (again Sun late pm/evening and Mon am) - again great service and a lady serving Mon am breakfast time. People make a real difference and all of above clearly care and are a credit to the Premier Inn group. I didn’t get names sorry!
