Nice size room and comfortable bed, had anything you would need for an overnight stay

We had a lovely warm welcome, the receptionist was very helpful. Check in was quick. We had a lovely meal at the Old Rectory. I had the best night's sleep, very quiet, no noise and the room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was amazing, so much choice. Checkout was as 12 noon which was ideal. Great stay and we've booked again for when my daughter is in her next cheerleading competition.

Very clean, comfortable and spacious room, staff were very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay and highly recommend this hotel. The price and location were just what we needed. We would definitely return to this hotel in the future. Excellent experience.

Room 37 is next to the boiler room. The boiler can start up at any time of day or night and is noisy and disturbs your sleep. Overall the premises is getting tired, worn shabby carpets and decor, crumbling mouldy plaster round windows. Staff were good though. Premier Inns were once good value for money but much less so now.

Lovely hotel on a hill in old town..very clean, comfortable, and couldn't wish for nicer staff, especially Vicky, who took it upon herself to allocate 5 adjacent rooms for my family, as there was a family wedding in town. She was friendly, always smiling and very helpful to myself and the rest of my family. Food in the adjoining restuarant was very good, and heaps of it!! Highly recommend this hotel..

Staff at the hotel were all lovely and helpful. Rooms standard Premier Inn which is always good enough. But the Pub attached was a shocker. Premier Inn breakfasts are generally decent if it’s done in house. But this place Hungry Horse was the pits. A Sunday breakfast at 10am we were told (after paying £40 for 2 adults and 2 teenagers) that there was no milk. So no cereals, teas or coffees available. One of the staff finally went and got some from the shop but that should have been done long before. The cooked breakfast was equally as poor, small portions and greasy. The table was sticky. We would have been far far better in a Weatherspoons. Awful.

I had a horrible experience from start.The room was outside located outside the reception area and the restaurant we were to have breakfast.The building was old and smells.Room 34 was so small I had booked a double room but it looked like a small room with a small shower cubicle.I have used premier inn for years almost 20years but have never had such a nusty experience.I felt like I was ripped off my money even the breakfast was horrible and it made my tummy runny

Competitively priced. Ample parking. Comfy rooms. Friendly staff. Ideally situated for needs. Great amenities. Ease of access. Superb Pillows(bought two online) Close to town centre and transport links.
