I have lifetime status and live the brand. This property Che is all the boxes. Yewande checked me in with professionalism, courtesy, hospitality and a great smile. She upgraded me and thanked me for my Elite status. The room was comfortable, clean, spacious. Good WiFi. Good shower, although I re on end putting the dispensers in the shower length wise, not width wise and lower them by 6-10” for people who are shorter. At about 5’, it was still a little high to be pumping, but okay. Otherwise, good property overall, especially with Yewande at check. Lots of restaurants around… and just minutes off the highway.

Prioritize avoidance. Javier the front desk clerk is remarkably arrogant and incompetent. I reserved via Expedia months earlier. I was in town for the Miami/Georgia Tech football game the following day. But Javier insisted I didn’t have a reservation. He asked for verification then refused to look at my Expedia confirmation emails. Javier asserted that Expedia doesn’t book rooms at all. He said they merely take money then hope the customer doesn’t complain, so Expedia can pocket the cash. Okay, I’m dealing with an *****. I called Expedia. The representative was a delight. She confirmed everything was in order. She resent the reservation info and called the hotel. Javier refused to answer. She tried again. This time Javier hung up on her. I told her I was not surprised, given Javier’s character. An Expedia supervisor took over. She called the hotel, miffed at the situation. Javier told her even if I did have a reservation it no longer mattered because they were out of rooms. That was a bald-faced lie. I spoke to several couples in the parking lot who booked from scratch. Javier turns every situation into confrontation instead of smooth and cordial. The lady in front of me paid the $75 deposit by cash. Javier entered it as paid by credit card. She refused to sign until he fixed it. Javier twice pushed it back to her, saying sign anyway. Then he mocked her behind her back as she departed. IMO, Javier saw my reservation in the computer system but refused to honor it due to price. That's the only thing that makes sense. My reservation was $59. It was a busy Friday night in high demand. The counter employees were getting $95 from walk-ins. They fought one regular Red Roof Inn who knew that his rate should be $75, along with points on his account. They made that guy battle for 10 minutes, trying everything to prevent the $75. Then I show up with $59 on Javier's screen. He wasn't having it. I am confident in this version because Red Roof Inn is the only prior chain where the situation showed up. The lady manager at Red Roof Inn in Fort Meyers a few years ago was livid at my rate. ”Where did you get that price? That's not our price. We get way more than that.” I explained to her that if you book months in advance during a promotional period, a rate like that is available. She scowled and treated me like the enemy for the remainder of my stay. Fortunately I had the last laugh in Suwanee. Expedia found a vastly superior hotel and area for me in Alpharetta. Expedia covered the price difference. The desk clerk in Alpharetta laughed at my Javier story. “We would never hire anyone like that.” Canes won, 35-14

We recently stayed here for a one night girl's trip. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. PROS: Location - right off 400, close to lots of stores and restaurants, 15 mi to N Ga Outlets, Starbucks, food, gas all very close Parking - plenty of spaces, self parking, no charge the park The hotel did not seem crowded, which was nice. No lines/waiting/hassle Heated indoor pool - our girls used this and enjoyed it Friendly Staff - they were cheerful and check in/check out was easy & painless They accommodated early check in request (1 hr), high floor and same floor rooms Room - comfortable beds, clean and spacious (esp the suite) Clever touches (”firm” and ”soft” stitched into the pillow cases, plenty of hooks, built in bench for luggage, desk with lots of charging ports) Mini fridge in room that wasn't crammed with items for sale (they should consider adding a few gratis liquid creamers for the coffee - powdered creamer is blech!) It was quiet at night in spite of being near the hwy and in a busy commercial area Hot breakfast was included with our rate CONS: This is not a luxury hotel - no valet, room service, spa, etc. but you don't PAY for that Some areas of our room showed its age - chipped paint, cabinetry a little worn In room coffee was terrible (but that's true for most hotel chains at this price point) Hot breakfast was just ok, nothing amazing but there were plenty of choices Front desk staff was thin - once when we called, no one answered; another time they were in the back and we had to call out to them to have them come talk to us Security - anyone could walk in the front; elevators did not require key to access upper floors; exterior doors on the sides did require key access (thank goodness!) Overall, it was a solid choice for what we were doing. I would recommend it for those who are looking for a clean, comfortable stay without breaking the bank.

L'hôtel est idéal pour un week-end de la ville. La zone Avalon est un meilleur secret et l'Avalon Autograph Hotel offre tout ce dont vous avez besoin si vous ne vous sentez pas comme un aventurier. South City Kitchen à l'intérieur de la propriété, Shopping juste en dehors de l'hôtel. Le personnel était très agréable! Merci Edith pour avoir reçu mon coucou et j'ai vérifié.
