Hôtels proches de Ray White Marine, Sydney

On the ambience side, the decor and modern-ish art was uplifting and fun. The room was very clean. But, we were surprised to find the room so small. In order for 2 people to get into the bed, one had to crawl over the other. The very small window sill became the nightstand. There was no room for luggage, and no luggage racks - we were told they didn’t have enough. That meant one suitcase on the floor and one on the very small plastic table. The retro-refrigerator was cool, but my traveling companion kept threatening to move it out into the hall to create some space in the room the whole time we were there. And then, the very small bathroom, the shower door doubled as the door to the bathroom. Have you ever looked into a microwave? The shower and the bathroom walls had the same dot matrix pattern as a microwave door. My companion was surprised to see while showering she could see me relaxing on the bed, and when she screamed “can you see me?” I replied “yes”. My companion now has bathroom-PTSD. Not only was the shower see through, there was a full-room-view sitting on the throne, trying to do your business. Then the realization somebody may be watching. PTSD! Our solution was to use the downstairs public bathroom for major activities. Did I mention IBS???

I had previously read the comments before booking at the capsule hotel as I usually do to avoid disappointment of available amenities, staff etc… when checking in I found the location in the heart of the CBD perfect with food vendors straight across from the hotel and a 2 minute walk from the light rail that takes you straight to the main shopping district and the rocks for all your art and entertainment. Staff were very kind and approachable even the guard at the bottom floor bar exit door was friendly to me when exiting at night. I found noise never to be an issue in the pods, although I did wear headphones at night time to listen to music but the room is practically always quiet. I was worried about how the air flow would be in the pods and about the mattress comfort from previous reviews thinking I may have got a one way ticket to a hot box scenario but I found it to be very comfortable with great airflow, I had the air flow on 1-2 levels at different times of the day and they still had an option for a third stronger airflow that I found unnecessary. I loved coming back to the pod for some RNR between my busy schedule over the three days I stayed here, the mattress for me was so comfortable and reminded me of the tatami mats in Japanese culture that they sleep on so as a westerner it actually opened my perspective to understanding Japanese culture better. I found that the shared bathrooms were always clean and never to crowded at both night and day. The last thing I can comment about is the storage was a great size I like that they had a hanger in your card accessed locker to dry your towel out through the day and still stay seperate from my belongings. Overall as a solo female traveller I would highly recommend the capsule hotel Sydney. I have stayed at hostels in Sydney close by to this hotel but that extra privacy allowed me to not feel like I wanted to stay out all day till bedtime. This was a last minute trip and if I ever had to book another last minute stay in the city I will book here.

Ce Shangri-La d'époque est situé dans le centre financier. Les fenêtres des chambres donnent sur l'Opéra de Sydney. Il y a un mini hammam avec piscine. Le petit-déjeuner est au 36ème étage avec une belle vue. La nourriture ne convient pas aux estomacs chinois. Le bacon dans la gaufre au bacon proposée au menu est très délicieux. Après un séjour de trois jours, je tiens à exprimer mes remerciements particuliers à Nora, la responsable du lobby à moitié chinoise, pour avoir résolu tous les problèmes au début de mon séjour. Tous les phénomènes conditionnés sont comme des rêves ou des ombres, comme la rosée ou la foudre, et doivent être considérés comme tels.

J'ai découvert YHA grâce à un blog de voyage. J'ai réservé une chambre queen avec une salle de bains pour moi (voyagé seul), donc cela ressemblait plus à un séjour à l'hôtel habituel qu'à une chambre plus sociale/amusante avec d'autres personnes. Le prix était raisonnable. Le meilleur atout de cette auberge est son emplacement, littéralement au centre de tout. Il y a un tramway et la gare juste devant l'auberge. La prochaine chose qui était géniale, c'était l'hospitalité du personnel. Je n'ai pas fait grand-chose à l'auberge ou dans des endroits juste à l'extérieur du bâtiment (je parie qu'il y avait tellement de choses à faire), donc il n'y a pas grand chose à ajouter ; la piscine sur le toit était en cours de rénovation, ce qui m'a un peu déçu. Dans l’ensemble, c’était un super endroit où séjourner pour deux nuits. Retournerais. Je le recommanderais.

En tant que bourreau de travail australien, c'était un routard grand, propre et sympathique. Il y a deux ascenseurs, et c'est juste en face de la gare centrale, donc l'accessibilité est bonne.

Nous sommes revenus séjourner à nouveau au Mercure Sydney Hotel, car l'emplacement est très pratique et proche de toutes les commodités et attractions. Le petit-déjeuner sert également un plat asiatique unique appelé « Laksa ». Essayez-le !

La ville est très bien située, mais elle est très bien située. Je n'ai jamais eu personne à prendre mes sacs dans ma chambre en Australie! J'ai offert un conseil et ils ne l'accepteraient pas. La chambre était immaculée, je me suis sentie la première personne à l'utiliser. Je trouve la chambre très calme, même si elle a regardé la piscine. J'ai dit que je ne bois pas d'eau de la bouteille et que quand je suis revenu, il y avait trois gouttes d'eau encore sur la table de la cuisine. Je ne peux pas noter Adina assez fort.

It was quite expensive for the service. The staff were not very welcoming but pleasant enough. The highlights are you are camping on the harbor and the view is very pretty. At sunset the very large bats come out which is quite cool to see but they are very loud with each other. Here is somethings you should know. Both eateries close at 430 pm so plan accordingly for dinner. If you get the package that includes electricity it’s only on from 6pm-6am. The waterway is very active until dark then the row teams start at 0500 it might have been earlier but their coaches are very loud and aggressive. What a way to wake up. It was nice just manage your expectations.

Il a été séjourné deux fois. Une fois au début de septembre et à la fin de septembre. Excellent! Clean, moderne, bien équipée, service de type appartement. A l'air sympa et est sympa. Grand service client, délicieux aliments, (service de chambre) et confortables lits. Les chambres sont très propres et les fenêtres peuvent être ouvertes. Un peu coûteux, (ce qui n'est pas aujourd'hui?) mais il vaut la peine. Lire les détails sur ce qui est disponible à l'hôtel et emballer votre suite de bain, (adorable piscine) et un gym. Je retournerai.

This was our second stay at quest woolooware bay. The hotel is new, clean, fully equipped and couldn't be more convenient for a night at the footy. We've stayed in 2 different studio apartments, both with views and spacious. Cannot fault anything except for the air con/extraction vent being a bit on the noisy side and navigating the carpark on game day and up the steep ramps does require care and concentration. Not a deal breaker though! Definitely will stay again.
