OwlStay Story House Flip Flop Hostel Chang'an 122 (OwlStay Flip Flop Hostel Garden) prepares a dream hostel for travelers. It’s less than 500 meters away from Taipei Railway Station and bus transfer station. Opposite the hostel is a contemporary art museum with wonderful exhibitions. The hostel itself is a classic reconstruction of an ancient building in the 1940s and 50s. The profound culture of this city unfolds. After redesigning and refurbishing by the Flip-Foot Home Team, an old building tells a new story: a patio where you can see the clouds, an atrium where you can feel the wind, and a public space filled with sunlight... Entering the hostel, you may be surprised at the atmosphere that is different from the crowded and noisy atmosphere of the city. You can comfortably settle in this home for travelers, a home where travelers can happily meet each other and share stories. In addition to the hostel, the first floor of OwlStay Flip Flop Hostel Garden, the home of OwlStay Flip Flop Hostel Garden, is another wonderful chapter. The Flip-Flop team is working hard to operate this first-floor space called "Zhongle LAB" to bring the culture of the city into the hostel. In addition to the handcraft market held irregularly on weekends, it will also cooperate with the Contemporary Art Museum to conduct illustration exhibitions of local artists. Cet hôtel est parfaitement situé.
L’heure d’arrivée peut être flexible en fonction de votre contact.
Le petit déjeuner était délicieux et je n'ai rien à redire sur le séjour lui-même.
Cependant, les commodités font un peu défaut,
Les chambres de type capsule sont un peu petites.
Vu le prix par nuit, cela semble cher.

La salle est petite, le service est moyen, l'emplacement est bon et l'insonorisation est mauvaise. Je ne suis pas allé dans la zone publique donc je ne sais pas quelle est l’ambiance.

It’s my first time staying at hostel, and I’m quite worried actually. After reached there, it was nothing I need to worried about!
Location: it’s super duper near to Taipei Main Station (Bus interchange) within 5mins walking distance. You can exchange for metro, bus interchange, high speed rail or even airport MRT at this area, just make sure you do some homework before that to prevent lost 🤣 There’s some convenient mart nearby, and a small breakfast restaurant just right beside the hostel. You will get a breakfast voucher TWD 100 for each morning, just top up the difference after the deduction. You may save lots of money for breakfast, the food was great and have options,try it!
Cleanliness: the thing I most worried, but overall it’s quite clean. For 2nd and 3rd floor the toilet and shower room is mixed use, 4th floor only for women. So far, I’m just using the 2nd floor as it’s just the same floor as my stays. Everything is good. 👍
There’s a bookstore inside the building, common area is at the same area with bookstore. You can pass your own sweet time reading books with minimum purchase of one drink inside the bookstore. I made some new friends too during the visit, next time will visit again.

This hostel is so pretty! I enjoyed my stay here: beautiful style, nice breakfast, good service and amenities, not crowded.
The single room was very small but not a big issue for me... the main problem was the noise coming from the road at night, which affected my sleeping. Those rooms facing the road are only for heavy sleepers!

It’s my 2nd time in flip flop hostel, but first time experience room with sharing basis. All i can say it’s really comfortable and meet my expectations. Room is super clean and cosy. At night, it might have a little noise from the street, light sleeper might need a pair of earplugs (and the hostel is very thoughtful to provide one for each of us). For me as muslim, it’s also very convenient to stay at 3-bed room, quite an ample space to perform my prayer without disturbing anyone. The water pressure in the shower room is good, the only downside is they don’t have bidet in toilet. Also, they provide breakfast voucher, the milk tea from the cafe is good and i didn’t know the combination of apple and tuna in the sandwich can be so good too. Anyways i hope it’s convince everyone to book this hostel, and i bet you won’t regret it! Happy travel everyone!

What a fantastic hostel. The room is very clean and odorless. Each bunk bed came with a security locker that can only be open up when you swipe your room card.
The common toilet and shower rooms are super clean. However, it will be great if the temperature of the hot water for shower can be consistent, not jumping from hot to cold within a while.
The breakfast quality is great. Their BLT sandwich and milk tea is superb.
And, most importantly, their outdoor environment within the compound is so relaxing where you can inhale the fresh air.
