The place is beautiful. The hotel staff is kind and honest. Clean. Especially the hotel bus service is kind and helpful. The breakfast food is delicious. Inside the room, all the equipment is clean. Especially the onsen is clean. You can really relax. Thank you trip. com and the takayama green hotel. My whole family enjoyed it, especially the children.

Love this hotel. It’s about 8-10 min walk from JR station but hotel provides shuttle bus. It has got 2 Onsen both indoor and outdoor. We chose Japanese style room and it’s been spacious.

This is a very good hotel for a road trip tourists.  There is a big parking lot but it’s not free. There are 3 shops (clothes, shoes and sundries) just opposite to the hotel and a souvenir shop on the ground floor of the hotel; definitely good and convenient for shopping. By the way, some grocery stores nearby as well. Both indoor and outdoor onsens are good!

Quite a distant from station however shuttle provided at certain timing. New building is too far from laundry service building. Should add more laundry machine/facilities.

The service was excellent. I especially want to praise the front desk lady that day, because we lost something at the previous hotel the night before, and the hotel's telephone customer service could only speak Japanese, so we couldn't communicate. The front desk lady of this hotel was very patient in helping us. It took up a lot of his time, but she was always very enthusiastic. The hotel also offers indoor and outdoor hot springs, and the restaurant in the hotel also serves good food. The breakfast in the morning was also delicious with a lot of variety. It was a very pleasant stay experience.

Amazing hotel! I would not hesitate to recommend. The location and facilities were brilliant.

The hotel is superb, spacious and staffs are nice. Staying here is perfect for traveling around the famous tourist spots and there are few good restaurant nearby. Our family stayed in a Japanese style room, staffs will help to set up the mattress and quilt at night.

This hotel may just very well be the grand dame of Takayama, a great start to our 18 day adventure of central Japan. The hotel has a grandeur that welcomes you with just the right touch of elegance and a perfect mix of Japanese and western refinements. The hotel boasts of 2 sento public baths and houses 3 buildings with modern and traditional suites for all tastes. The dinner and breakfast offerings are superb and varied. Familiar yet exotic. A complimentary scheduled shuttle bus to and from the train and bus stations but a short 8 minute walk if you miss them. This hotel has it all under 3 roofs.

Fantastic hotel with well renovated facilities - there's both an outdoor onsen and a newer, quieter basement onsen which also has an open air section. The rooms are also very spacious, and the gift shop is well stocked. The restaurant and lounge are great to relax in, and the hotel is also a short walk away from the station. There's a convenient shuttle bus if you don't feel like walking. Highly recommended.

I have visited different onsen in Japan , and the environment and facilities of the onsen on the B1 floor are the newest I have experienced. The quality of the dinner at the restaurant and the service were excellent. Unfortunately, I couldn't share the meal with my friends (they had different menus). However, the most disappointing aspect was that I paid extra for an open bath in the room, but it turned out not to be hot spring water; instead, it was just a bathtub. This was different from the images shown on the travel agent's website, which left me and my family disappointed. Overall, the price was on the higher side and did not meet my expectations.

Dinner portion was too little and the plain rice provided was disappointing. Also the staff were very rude. The hotel was very old.
