The hotel is superb, spacious and staffs are nice. Staying here is perfect for traveling around the famous tourist spots and there are few good restaurant nearby. Our family stayed in a Japanese style room, staffs will help to set up the mattress and quilt at night.

Perfect! Orinkaku building very new.

Dinner and breakfast buffet is provided. Free use of executive lounge until 10:00 pm with self-served drinks. Good facilities for hot spring but no traditional yakata provided.

The hotel room is spacious enough but the sofa is too dirty to sit. The onsen is good and not crowded. The receptionist is helpful. There is a souvenir shop inside the hotel. Dinner is buffet style.

Big rooms, very comfortable and clean. With 2 separate onsen. Well equipped with facilities and amnesties

Overall the service is good and the onsen is great after a long day. Location is very close to the old street. You could also rent bicycles from the hotel if you like. There are two buildings, the new wing and the old wing. Please book for the new wing. I am disappointed because my room allocated was at old wing. The condition is so old and the sofa is dirty.

Nice hotel and very spacious room . Comfortable . This hotel had 2 onsen location and both are nice and clean . Didn’t have breakfast so cannot comment . This is good place to stay . Repeatedly

The rooms was superb with the good quality amenities provided. Very spacious until my child don't feel like leaving and after we check out Takayama Green hotel to the next one which is Grand Mercure Yatsugatake, we missed Green hotel immediately as everything was perfect.

This is the third time we stayed in this hotel but we had a very bad experience. We rented an room with open bath. I thought it was an onsen bath but turn out it was only hot water. Next the open air bath water will not be drained every night. My kid had a bubble bath the night before and the bubble remain in the bath tub in the next night. The manager simply said that they cannot change it as it will take a long time and thus I "wasted" one night for my family to enjoy the open bath there. Worse yet, the bathroom was very smelly. In essence, I paid a lot of money for a room which my family didn't enjoy. I will not stay in this hotel again next time when I visit Takayama.

This hotel has 2 onsens! The hotel staff is friendly, though the rooms are slightly dated but clean

Good traditional hotel with great service. The onsen and souvenir shops are a plus. We had the futon room, seemed a bit old, but can try another room type next time

10:00am check out. That’s the weirdest hotel I have ever had. Fucking **** hotel, service is bad. The ppl is impolite. Dumb ass hotel. Never gonna come here again.

Excellent onsen facility (the new one 風雅） Stlyish room design and comfortable space Need to walk about 15 mins to old street but it is a comfortable walk Nice breakfast, worth for money
