Very convenient 1 night stop before taking a flight from Ouarzazate. Gilly and Hassan are superb hosts, making you feel very much at home. The traditional style of the riad is enhanced by the numerous artifacts arranged around the riad. The dinner was super one of the best vegetable tagine I have had on this trip! Perfect stop if you have a hire car in a quiet area of Ouarzazate with amazing views of the Atlas mountains.

Spent two nights at this very nice riad. The people at this riad have great contacts for example if you want to go to the hamam or get a taxi to the airport or find something in the local area. . The breakfast was really nice and the dinners were great. The riad does contain a plunge pool which is good when it's hot. The bedrooms have everything you need and to get the Aircon to work ask for the remote at reception. The town is a 15 minute walk away. There are some local shops if you want to buy sweets, drinks and bread in easy walking distance.

This riad is placed in the so called Ouarzazate-2 part of the town, on the opposite side of the river with respect to the Medina. Very convenient if you get there by car, as you have a parking lot just in front of the Riad. The location itself is not that bad, with several craftsworks hanging on the walls of common areas. To be honest the room was not as nice, it was a very large room at the first floor (good for 5 people, we were three), but quite bare. Bathroom: sufficient. Unfortunately, the heating system of the room was not working at all, and no way to make it work. The solution they found to solve the issue: wool blankets! Which are good as long as you lie in bed, but December in Ouarzazate is actually not that warm…… This situation and the bathroom led me to a two-star mark, as without that it could definitely be a three-star one. We also had a light dinner and a breakfast, both enjoyable. The riad has a small patio too, with a very small swimming pool.
