Hôtel propre à l’arrivée situé dans un environnement bruyant. Nous y avons séjourné 5 nuits. Le lendemain de notre arrivée, nous avons retrouvé la chambre non faite ( lit pas fait) et la salle de bain non faite. Pas de thé remis dans le petit panier de la chambre. La personne de l’accueil nous a précisés que c’était de notre faute, n’ayant pas mis l’étiquette sur la poignée externe de notre chambre demandant au personnel de ménage de passer. Le lendemain, malgré l’étiquette mise sur la porte, pas de lit fait, ni de salle de bains nettoyée, ni de thé. Juste un changement de serviettes. Les deux nuits suivantes, même topo mais une seule serviette de changer. Nous sommes donc restés cinq nuits dans un hôtel sans aucun ménage ! Donc, sans aucun service. C’est la première fois que nous voyions cela. HÔTEL À ÉVITER POUR PLUS D’UNE NUIT

Lovely and clean Travelodge. All are of a very similar standard - this was no different - what did set this Travelodge apart from the rest however were the lovely friendly staff. Quiet area and a pub around the corner which was useful. Would stay again!

The hotel is situated just off the M5. The rooms are spacious and clean however if the temperature outside is hot then please be warned the rooms do not have air con. The only way to cool the room is to have the windows open however with warm temperatures outside the rooms do not get cooler leaving to a very sleepless night. The hotel does provide a small fan for circulating the already warm air but when reception was asked if they had any spare fans was told they operate a one fan per room policy. I did explain that my daughter was poorly and needed the extra ventilation they confirmed the policy however they did find an extra fan but this really didn’t provide the cooling required it only circulated the warm heat in the room.

I have used many Travelodge hotels and would recommend, however, the Taunton hotel is also being used for housing families/individuals for social services and this is not advised when booking. I appreciate that these people need somewhere to stay, however they treat it like 'home' and are constantly moving from their rooms to go outside for a smoke and standing in the corridors talking. So the banging of doors and voices means we did not have a very restful nights sleep. Please advise at the time of booking that the hotel is a shared use and we can choose whether to spend our money.

Good night sleep and good services in a short walk. The location at Taunton is very convinient being close to the motorway exit, but not noisy, and with good access to the town.

Stayed here last minute, booked online nice and easy, car parking included. Pub next to hotel closed at 4:30 on a Sunday so beware if arriving later. Room was basic, but clean, as with every budget hotel atm lots of "residents" staying and hanging around outside smoking not a pleasant entrance to walk though.

Having stayed at the Travelodge site quite a few times for work, this stay was up there with the best! Peter, the new hotel manager, made me feel very welcome on check in. The room was very clean and very spacious and has all the things you could need such as a kettle and a good amount of tea and coffee, with more available from reception. I look forward to coming back!

I stayed there for a wedding I had over a weekend. I had no problems with the room, the sheets I had I found was clean the tea and coffee basket was filled, the staff was nice and the receptionist was kind enough to help me with anything I needed. Would come back

A convenient location hotel. Plenty of amenities close to the hotel with a retail park just a short walk away. The hotel has ample parking for the size and seems to be run very well. All members of staff I encountered were pleasant and seemed like nothing was too much for them! Highly recommend this hotel!
