Great night stay very comfortable and peaceful great location and the meals very good at attached Beefeater restaurant plenty of free car parking available The check in was very quick and welcoming We would definitely stay here again on our travels

We have been to many Premier Inns and are used to the basic format but this one we felt had many issues which left us disappointed 1) no air conditioning and the fan in the room was very noisy and not very strong so was on no use at all 2) toilet flush broke 3) the extractor fan in bathroom never fully turned off - when we reported this to reception the next morning (so they could fix it for the next guest) we were given the impression it was our fault for not taking the key card out of the door. I explained if we did this, there would be no lighting at all so clearly this isn’t a solution. We also experimented with this and left the key out when we went to breakfast and it was still making a noise when we got back. So clearly this isn’t the cause. This is clearly a maintenance problem and needs to be addressed 4) the restaurant next door is fine but some of items such as the eggs were over cooked

Me and my 2 families loved staying here for the night. We arrived all together very tired and very hungry. Darren the manager on reception could not do enough for us. Even moving our rooms so we could all be closer together and then making up another bed for us in our room. Spoke to the manager next door and made sure we had a table booked for 8 of us and we all sat together to. It was a wonderful family night. Hotel is a bit dated but the service we received totally made up for that. We would happily return.

Very nice hotel. Little old and outdated but also very pleasant. Staff all great and very friendly. Reception team could not do enough for us. Excellent service. I thought the towels were very soft and fluffy. I do live a soft towel. Food next door at beefeater was very nice too.

This hotel has to be one of the best my wife, Margo and I have ever stayed in. Basic rooms but friendly pleasant. Meals are served at the Beefeater White Lodge. Staff are very friendly and make you feel as though your a friend. The meals were absolutely exquisite, par excellence. Breakfast was perfect. The White Lodge catered for literally all tastes. Steak was cooked to perfection as were the fish and chips. I need to give a big massive shout out to the Beefeater staff. Roxanne, Ruby, Lottie, Claire and Kate. I didn't get chef's name but I did meet him and told him how much I enjoyed his meals. Car park is big and free. ASDA superstore in easy flat walking distance and main centre just a bit further. Blue light is accepted on meal only. There is so much to love at this hotel and the Beefeater inn. We'll be back in Summer I'm sure.

Great place to stop over. Check in ladies friendly and efficient. Very clean rooms and super comfy beds with extra pillows. Tea & coffee tray very welcome and the TV is a good size. The Pub next door serves great food and the breakfast in the morning is great. This is my second time visiting and I will continue to use.
