"We stayed in Room 7. Fantastic shower! Tea/coffee tray etc excellent. Hair dryer. No plug sockets near bed but asked at reception anc had extension lead given. Very soft double bed so i slept on single bed in room. Windows good to keep road noise out Very good receptionist. Great parking. No breakfast available on site as hotel at Motorway service station"

"This was an amazing hotel and after the hellish experience I’d had in travelling to Taunton and other things along the way this hotel was bliss. Nicky on the desk was a lovely person and made you feel like you were lifelong friends. My room was 29 and it had everything I needed. It was clean and bright and the bed was so cosy. There was even a fridge in it! There are kitchen areas on every floor with cookers, fridges and microwaves. I loved my stay and if I ever return to Taunton I’ll definitely go back there ❤️"

"We booked two nights for a wedding,I totally understand the hot weather but just supplying an electric fan didn't lower the 32/35degrees in the room,if the windows could open more than 5cms maybe a better flow but didn't sleep at all!,staff were good but it was out of their control.for the price it wasn't good and won't be using premier inns again"

"This is not our first stay here and we have always found it to be a very nice stop off. Friendly staff, good breakfasts in a spotless eating area. This year the screen for entering my care registration was "not working" and I verbally gave my car registrations details to reception. Today I received a fine for parking illegally, although I had a confirmed booking. Lenny Henry never mentioned this could happen in the ads."

"Great experience. Clean and tidy communal areas, room & bathroom. Atmosphere was happy, welcoming, very helpful. Great value for money as it was a Friday night! No issues with noise. Location was perfect. I'd particularly like to mention Ben on the night shift, he was there when I checked in and was very welcoming, kind and considerate. I was staying over to collect my rescue dog from abroad and he definitely made my experience better than I could have expected! Thank you!"

"I knew we were staying in an old farmhouse, but hadn't realised how built up it was approaching the property. However, once inside the grounds, it was like a little haven. An utterly charming old building, beams, nooks and crannies, old chimney breasts peeping out and very friendly hosts. Karen and Chris made everything so easy and their breakfasts were brilliant. We had the Orchard Room, and it felt like our own apartment with the lobby area. Quiet and peaceful, lovely beds, tea and coffee facilities, free and safe parking. Perfect for our short stay."

We arrived very late due to traffic delays but kept in touch with Liz by text who was more than accommodating and recommended a local pub to eat en route. A beautifully appointed room, easy parking and a fabulous breakfast. A great stopover before our ongoing journey to Cornwall. Thank you Liz!"

"Sunday lunch for my brother’s 50th birthday. All our starters were delicious. The roast was plated, and it was a generous portion. The vegetables were presented in dishes which I like as you can have the amount you want. The sticky toffee dessert is a must have. The only reason I have given 4 and not 5 is because the table was a little small for the size of our group and we felt a little squished, but do not let this put you off if you are looking for a delicious roast."
