Apartamento Tavira Garden

We booked this apartment as a 5 day break and must say we where impressed by the size of the apartment and the fullrange of equipment and utensils suppied there are two balconies which is great as you can get the sun all day if i was to be critical the beds and pillows where hard , Location wise you are about a mile and a half from tavira so a fair walk in the sun as my partner has slight walking difficulties we used the taxis to get to town costs about 6 euro,s p s there is a bus 41 outside the complex but found only runs weekdays and also quite sporadic

The most deplorable place i have stayed. The furniture was completely rotten, chairs impossible to use, beds terribly uncomfortable, the places smells, bathroom is crappy. I have insisted with the rental people to send me photos before - they were lyed saying they would but never did. This is a place to avoid!!!!

Booked to stay 3 nights in TG & the booking through the 3rd party said we had to contact the property beforehand to get check-in instructions. They didn't bother to answer any of my messages so ended up having to give them a call only to be told there aren't any special instructions but check-in is from 2 till 5, unlike the timings given on the booking which was 2 till 6. Had read the reviews on TripAdvisor before the visit and the review re cockroaches so we were really dreading it! First impressions of the place was fine as it looked like a typical resort apartment complex. People at reception were friendly. The studio had a kitchenette & a balcony and seemed to have the essentials we need. After a while, it was clear it wasn't all that great. There was no soap given, not even a tiny bar. Two rolls of toilet paper were left but they have got to be the tiniest rolls of toilet paper we have ever seen & the sheets were quite thin. We had to ask for another roll on the last day! The cabinet near the door was full of junk which presumably were left over from previous visitors. There were useful things like an iron and an ironing board. There were other things like sheets and blankets which were all squished together - it looked like Monica's hidden cupboard of junk from the sitcom "Friends"! It was impossible to open both doors of the cupboard at the same time without everything falling out! Drawers in the TV cabinet were empty but filthy so we had to clean them out before we could use them. Kitchen cabinets and tables and chairs were filthy, with stains left by previous occupants. The whole place had obviously not been cleaned properly. The couch/ pull out bed looked stained and grubby, so it felt like we couldn't really leave any of our stuff anywhere as there was no clean surface anywhere other than the bed (well we were hoping it was clean!) The worst was yet to come as the floor felt really dirty so we started sweeping it. The broom provided was so dirty we were basically dragging dirt around. We then got the mop and bucket and had to disinfect the mop with boiling water. When we were done with the floor, the water we threw out was grey with dirt - probably partly due to the filthy mop left as well. We had just checked in but had to spend more than half an hour cleaning up the place to make it fit for purpose!! This is really poor esp when we are still coping with a global pandemic. There were also strange little flies in the apartment which we noticed in the evenings. There was no WiFi in the room and though there was a pool we weren't around the apartment much to use it & it looked pretty grotty from the room balcony so we didn't bother. There is free parking at the hotel and as some reviewers have mentioned, it's a few mins' walk to a mini market and a slightly longer walk to a shopping mall & larger supermarket. We didn't walk into town but it would have probably taken 25-30 mins. The good news is we didn't encounter any

Normas de la casa tirar la basura antes de irse pero no ponen bolsas de basura. Un rollo de papel higiénico, no hay repuestos. Sólo dejan dos toallas y ni siquiera gel ni jabón de manos. Esto ya lo he leído en las anteriores reseñas, pensé que lo habrían cambiado pero no. Los platos y vajilla sucios, se paga 86€ de servicio de limpieza y te entregan el apartamento así. Aparece un cartel señalando que te harás cargo de los gastos si se atranca el váter, no puedes ni tirar papel en el baño por el retrete parece ser. Es un apartamento grande, luminoso, es muy bonito, pero las imágenes engañan. Es un bajo al que se accede con varias escaleras, así que para personas en silla de ruedas difícil acceder, imposible. Las vistas dan a la carretera y a otros apartamentos. Plaga de hormigas en el apartamento, y por supuesto tampoco te ponen veneno o un spray para matarlas. Cuchara en la ducha... No te dan indicaciones ni la llave para entrar a la piscina comunitaria.

Entrei numa sexta-feira à noite e tive de sair nessa madrugada. Apartamento sujo, via-se que esteve fechado e não foi limpo. Baratas a entrar pela porta do apartamento e de todo o lado que conseguissem. É uma falta de respeito e higiene. Porque se estamos a pagar não é para passar por estas situações. Responsável do alojamento foi muito simpático. Mas a simpatia não chega. Podiam até ser antipaticos, desde que não fosse para ficar alojada na imundície. E no dia que entrei outra hóspede estava a queixar-se na recepção do mesmo problema.
