Avis : MB Hotel

The interior was kinda old, when we reached the floor of the hotel room, the lobby was stuffy and not air conditioned, likewise hotel room also stuffy upon entering. Check-in process was smooth. Overall I feel it does not really reflect the rate charged.

My first stay here, the room not bad at all, will consider to stay again when I visit to Tawau next time, great location!

Booked 2 rooms, and they allow for early checkin. Very kind, as they are prompt in answering queries and attending to customers. Location is great. Nearby eateries, and walking distance to UTC/Tawau Tanjung Market. Hotel also located to Pemborong kristal Mutiara, best Price Pearl in town. We had a good time shopping! Definitely recommend this hotel for staying at Tawau.

Very strategic location. Close to local spots. Shops around. Walking distance. Service was bad. I booked 2 rooms for 4 of us. The first room 4017 smelled of strong smokes the moment we entered. Asked for a room change. Zul, bell boy was very helpful. He helped us to change the room. Check in person at front desk gave us another room 4022. Someone was actually already in the room when we opened the door. OMG this happened at midnight! Very poor service! Lastly the reception gave us room 7012 and we could only got into the room at 1am!

Parking hote freel sangat sedikit. Parking berbayar ikut jam byk di sekeliling hotel.

comfortable & strategic location

The room is clean and the AC is working fine. It’s fine for me coz I was there for business. One thing good was this hotel has a huge freezer so anyone who wants to bring home fresh seafood can store them there and just take it before your flight. Amazing!

Breakfast is reasonably priced at RM15 per person, offering a variety of options including tea, coffee, cordial drinks, fresh fruits, local kuih, rice, noodles, and porridge. The only drawback is that the hotel is a bit dated, with some visible signs of wear and tear. However, if you're not too concerned about modern aesthetics, it remains a comfortable and practical option. Recommended for short stays or business trips!

Good as usual. Although it's an old hotel, but most importantly is the cleanliness. I'm happy with what I get. If you're driving, parking lots are limited nearby the hotel.
