Hôtels proches de Gumuk Celeng, Temanggung Regency

We booked a tour of Indonesia through Turquoise Holidays who suggested, and arranged, a fantastic itinerary for us. The first stop on our tour was the MesaStila. We were picked up at Yogyakarta airport by our Destination Asia guides (arranged through Turquoise) and it was a couple of hours drive north to the hotel (the traffic was extremely busy!) The hotel is set in a fairly remote jungle area north of Magelang and has fantastic views of the nearby volcanoes and jungle. We were welcomed at the Club House with a cold drink and told about all the facilities on offer. There is a spa and gym (and even an outdoor “jungle gym”) a restaurant, sunset lounge bar, tennis courts. There are complimentary activities including yoga, a tour of their own coffee plantation, batik, Javanese dance and a guided village walk. The villas are set in large grounds on the side of the hill and are all very private with stunning views. Our agent at Turquoise had mentioned that we were celebrating our 30th anniversary and we were upgraded to an Arum villa. Staff had also prepared a lovely cake for us! The villa was very spacious and had a large “double bath” as well as double sinks and a shower. We had a covered terrace with a view of the volcanoes and an indoor dining area. Each day we had breakfast at their Java Red restaurant which included western as well as Indonesian specialities. They also served a “shot” of jamu (an Indonesian health drink) with a range to choose from – very interesting!! We went on day trips to the Borobudur and Prambanan temples (with Destination Asia) which are both withing striking distance. We also enjoyed a tour of the hotels coffee plantation, saw how they process and roast the coffee they harvest and had a taste in their coffee shop. We bought some beans to bring home. We even managed some pool time when the weather allowed. Dinner was a mix of western and Indonesian food with amazing cocktails (Java Spice was my favourite) and some decent wines. All the food was excellent. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly. It was quite quiet at the hotel (we only saw two or three other couples) but this gave it a peaceful and relaxing vibe. A great place to stay and explore central Java.

the hotel condition is quite ok and located at the center of Magelang but we were suprised with CS of the hotel when informing check out time which we already noticed at the first place, and really, it is not necessary to be informed anymore coz we were planned to check out at 11.00am instead. and we felt that we were being expelled., when we need the bell boy upon check out., we were told to wait for queing, but we refused and decided to take all of the bags and luggages by ourselves., but suprisingly we saw the lugggage carts were stayed idle at the lobby unused. we do hope it wont happen to other guests and the hotel can improve the level of service to its customer. thank you

La vue était super magnifique. L'hôtel est très bien seulement la propreté doit être améliorée.

Le lieu est suffisant, mais le faucet dans KM est un peu fuite, service amiable ... Please replace the wet mat

Penginapannya ok... Suka sama suasananya... Makanannya enak enak...

La location est très localisée, vous pouvez trouver la plupart des choses facilement et à une distance de marche, minimum, restaurants, marché, boutiques de souvenirs, cafés. Le petit déjeuner est bon, ils ont même un stal avec indomie ... lol, quelqu'un va le préparer pour vous. Vous pouvez avoir un petit déjeuner en même temps, vous pouvez profiter des montagnes et de la vue de la ville. Pour un petit hôtel et budget, il est certainement très bon. Les do ont plus de cheveux une fois que vous demandez au récepteur, mais il a été cassé, une petite chose qu'ils peuvent améliorer facilement, peut-être les hôtels peuvent avoir 3 ou 4 supplémentaires.

jalan yg mau ke penginapannya terlalu ekstrim. waktu baru sampai belum ditunjukin kamar mana malah udah ditinggal-tinggal jadi bingung sendiri. malem pesen makan 1 jam lebih gk adabyg antar, pasnsaya tanya lagi gak taunya lupa belum diantar akhirnya pas sampai udh dingin lagi makanannya. tapi ya memang ada harga ada rupa. pelayanannya sesuai dengan harga sewanya. pintu untuk lihat view dibelakang macet, remote tv rusak. jadi kalau mau cari hiburan harus keluar kamar untuk kelebihan penginapan disini : viewnya bagus tempatnya deket bgt dr sikunir air panasnya lancar harganya murah untuk penginapan dekat tempat wisata fasilitas lengkap tampilan kamar dan sekitarnya sesuai bgt dengan foto2 yg di tampilkan
