"J'ai dû renvoyer les steaks car ils étaient encore vivants malgré la demande de bien cuits. Ils ont été refaits et sont revenus durs comme de l'eau de roche. Pour être honnête, la dame a offert une glace à notre enfant en guise d'excuse. Le petit-déjeuner était une blague : il manquait des ingrédients et les produits étaient secs ou brûlés. Le « chef » était absent pour demander des produits frais. Pas de fruits et le bacon était comme de l'ardoise. Je fréquente souvent le Premier Inn, mais la nourriture était de loin la pire que nous ayons jamais servie. Le personnel était plutôt sympathique, mais il y en avait beaucoup trop peu. Je n'y retournerai pas à cause de la nourriture, mais j'ai bien dormi."

"When we got there, the room was freezing. It was 9 degrees C outside and the window was open and the heat off. The mattress was so old, I could feel springs in my ribs. Most of the floor grout was missing in the tiny bathroom with coffin shower, and the fan never came on, it just made a sort of click-click noise. The toilet didn't even like to swallow liquid. There was all kinds of crud on the floor so we dared not go barefoot. We were not provided towels and were told they were in the dryer and would come to the room in 20 minutes. Over an hour later we phoned again for towels, and he said he was in the supermarket. Another hour later when we came home from dinner, they were piled up outside our door on the floor. And they'd been line dried, not in the dryer! Security was lax, with the outside door constantly open. The linens were fairly new and pretty. The promised seating area turned out to be a small window seat. The breakfast was self-serve and generous, though the seating in the kitchen was crowded. We went to a hotel for our second night even though we'd already paid for this place. We couldn't do it if we didn't have to."

"Excellent bar and restaurant run by Mr. & Mrs. Michelin LEO. All meat sourced from their own farm. Good selection of beers on tap. Very friendly and hospitable couple. The room was very nicely decorated however it would benefit from some simple additions such as towel rails in the bathroom, proper clothes hangers and proper coffee mugs. Also we couldn't figure out how to operate the bathroom extractor fan, as it was not connected to the bathroom light switch. It was placed 8 feet high on the outer bathroom wall."

"Room is somewhat small. Bathroom was very cleaned and had everything we needed. Excellent breakfast. Even in the middle of the city, once you entered in to the hotel it’s calm, no sounds and no disturbances for your sleep. Seems like old but worth for a stay ❤️"
