Chalet Hattiers by Chardons

Beautifully located in the old mountain village of Tignes Les Brevieres, Chalet Hattiers is absolutely delightful. The chalet has an ambiance that is great to come back to after a day on the slopes. The rustic charm of the interior décor provides the perfect balance of comfort and convenience. Breathtaking views of Mont Pourri from the chalet windows add a touch of magic to morning coffee on the balcony. Breakfast was outstanding with hot options available every morning but one (chef's morning off) and the hearty evening meals were never less than exceptionally good with plenty of wine for those who wanted it. The hospitality of the staff was unmatched, their attentiveness and warmth made me feel truly at home, ensuring that every moment of my stay was a pleasure, My expectations, already high from previous stays with Chalet Chardons, were surpassed, leaving me with great memories and a desire to return next season. For the perfect mountain getaway I am happy to give Chalet Hattiers an unequivocal endorsement.

Great location in a quiet village, staff were fantastic and made our stay amazing, accommodation was good. Annabelle and Tom couldn’t do enough to make our stay the best it could be especially with us having a 1 year old in our group. Jordan in the kitchen cooked up brilliant breakfast and dinner. In fact his duck was 100 times better than the duck we were served in the local restaurant. Missing his cooking already! We enjoyed amazing freshly baked cake every day at 4pm after skiing. Accommodation was good although one room had a slanted ceiling which made it difficult for one couple with us getting in and out of bed without banging their heads. Perfect stay and we would definitely book again. Thank you Annabelle, Tom and Jordan for a wonderful stay!

We stayed in Hattiers 2, an apartment within the chalet. The apartment is at the top of the building and has great views across Brevieres. The apartment was well equipped, and the addition of tea, coffee and hot chocolate in jars, as well as milk was very welcome and not something you find at all chalets. The apartment was definitely large enough for the 6 in our party, although the bathrooms are on the small side, but perfectly functional. (We did have an issue with one of the showers, but this was sorted immediately, following us reporting it.) The lounge is a lounge diner, but as it’s a catered chalet we felt that an extra sofa would be more beneficial than the dining table, as there wasn’t comfortable seating for six. The beds were super comfortable and we all slept very well. The highlight of this apartment is the chalet Chalet Chardons staff. From booking through to arriving home, they couldn’t have been more helpful. Our chalet host was amazing, a perfect representative, helpful, attentive and if she didn’t know the answer to a question she came back to us later. The chef also, was truly amazing. Not only was all the food exceptional but Lawrence catered for one of our party with a food intolerance. We have never experienced meals of the standard we were served this holiday, and we have stayed in catered chalets on many previous occasions. In addition to this, we certainly did not go hungry; the extra touches such as the free flowing wine, the port following our meal and the welcome Prosecco, were touches that made us feel like valued guests. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Chalet Chardons again.

Had a blast at Hattiers. Great food and service. The chalet is probably a bit small for 8 but nonetheless it was very quaint, clean and good quality. They give you cake every day which a lovely bonus and then the mid week clean is what really put the cherry on the cake.

My family and I had a lovely stay in Chalet Hattier, we stayed in the self catering apartment at the top of the building. Unfortunately my dad took Ill during the holiday and I needed to fly home midweek. The staff went above and beyond to help facilitate this and managed to get me a last minute transfer at a very reasonable cost also.
