Hôtels proches de Carmelitas Descalzas de San Jose, Tolède

Nous sommes restés une nuit dans cet hôtel situé au centre de Tolède. La chambre est un peu vieillotte mais très propre. Il n'y a pas de petit réfrigérateur ou de bouilloire, il faut le savoir. La sélection TV est médiocre pour les étrangers (peu de chaînes d'info internationales et pas de chaînes de sport) comme la majorité des hôtels où nous sommes restés en Espagne. Le lit était confortable. Le Wi-Fi gratuit est rapide. Nous aurions aimé avoir une poubelle de recyclage dans la chambre. Le petit déjeuner inclus dans le prix de la chambre était copieux et sain ! Leur café au lait était excellent et quelle générosité pour leurs tartines à la pulpe de tomate et jambon ! Et pour finir, 3 fruits différents étaient offerts. C'était très appréciable.

What a wonderful hotel. Created from 7 medieval houses, as you walk through you can see in the undercroft cisterns and other archaeological remains. Staff at reception were very helpful, providing map and suggestions on best things to see and do. Our room with a small terrace was a good size with an incredibly comfortable bed. The room was well furnished with a kettle, a coffee maker, robes and plenty of storage space. Our terrace had two chairs and a lovely view over the town and the hills in the distance. Bath had a monsoon shower over it and good quality toiletries. Breakfast was extra but was of a very high quality with a huge choice of breads, meats, cheese, salads as well as hot food. We didn't use the spa, too busy sightseeing. All in all a superb stay and value for money too. I would recommend that anyone with reduced mobility or with lots of luggage should contact the hotel when booking as the entrance is down a steep, very narrow road that taxis cannot enter, so have to stop outside the cathedral about 50 meters away.

A visit to Toledo should definitely be on your list of places to visit in Spain. The City of Three Cultures sits on a hill, surrounded on three sides by the River Tagus, attesting to the old adage that location is everything. The Roman historian, Livy (a.59 BCE-17CE) mentioned it as being a small city but fortified by location. The three cultures being of course, Christianity, Judaism and Islam. The evidence of these cultures are found all over the old city. Indeed, it is the influence of these cultures and the structures that they left behind, that were instrumental in Toledo being inducted into the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1986. Today, it is a lively city, its streets and squares filled with residents mingling with tourists. We booked Hotel Medina de Toledo without really knowing how close it lay to the Historic Center of Toledo. We were pleased to see that it actually lies within the walls in the outer perimeter. You are just ca. 100 meters from the Aparcamiento Miradero (Parking), from which there is an escalator that leads you right up to the actual town. The hotel website states that you are a four minute walk from the Puerta del Sol City Gate and Plaza de Zocodover. A five minute walk from Puerta Bisagra Gate, seven minutes from the Alcazar and ten minutes from Toledo Cathedral. Tops on location. This small hotel has 18 rooms arranged on three floors. Because the hotel is located on an incline, the lobby is located on the top floor, but is on street level. The hotel staff are very friendly, in fact we greeted by the owner of the facility and were treated very well. The hotel advertises that multi languages are spoken, Spanish, Portuguese, English, French and Italian. As the hotel basically sits into the hill, the rooms face out to the back and have a great view of the lower city, in what I think is a north direction. The rooms are clean and comfortable, air-conditioned, there is also free wifi. Non-smoking rooms are available. Breakfast, available for a nominal fees, is delicious and can be eaten out on a lovely, scenic terrace. There is also free parking available on the street and if you are lucky, right out in front of the lobby. We can easily recommend staying at the Hotel Medina de Toledo and if we are back in the area, will do so again. PS. We would like to pass along the recommendation of El Trebol Tapas Bar as a good place to eat. Also, don't forget to buy some Marzipan, as Toledo is well known for this treat.

Ridicule que la nuit ils vous fassent descendre à la réception pour recevoir vos commandes (nourriture, colis). Les charnières de la porte du balcon ont besoin de lubrifiant, elles grincent trop. Portes et ventes sans aucune isolation. Très peu de prises dans la chambre.

Alquilo dos habitaciones para la familia, una de ellas con un problema de grifería del que nos percatamos por la noche. La actitud del responsable distante de la cordialidad. Me indica que no se va a arreglar y ante mi cara de ”pues que bien”, me aloja en otra habitación. La comunicación no verbal poco empática y más bien de disgusto y bueno, pues agradecidos por el favor de cambiarnos a una con ducha hacemos mudanza, porque estaba absolutamente todo sacado de maletas, no sin antes devolverle la llave en recepción, tal y como se me específica (Total, sólo somos clientes y no hace falta ni un gesto de cortesía ni nada más). Por cierto, se les olvidó conectar el aire acondicionado. Al día siguiente tras desayuno salimos a un parque temático llegando pasadas las 1:00 de la madrugada. La puerta del garaje no abre con tarjeta pero lo mejor viene cuando tampoco funciona la llave de la puerta. Le comento al responsable nocturno, diferente al de la noche anterior que vaya cúmulo de despropósitos y me contesta que me cambiaron porque no sabía usar el grifo de la ducha (curiosamente si supe usarlo en la otra habitación con mi hijo y en la otra que nos dieron sin manual de usuario ni clases particulares). Le recuerdo que no sólo no salía caudal , ni tenía agua caliente, sino que además me quedé con el grifo en la mano. La respuesta es que a él no le han contado eso. Se ve que con 54 años no sé manejar un grifo monomando, aunque en las otras habitaciones sí. En fin. Personal que roza las pocas ganas, más bien nulas de agradar y muy secos en trato hasta el extremo de parecerme bordes. He tenido en algún momento pequeños percances en algún hotel pero desde luego nunca me he encontrado con un personal tan particular. Pregunté si podía reservar parking antes del viaje y me dijeron que hasta que no llegara no me lo garantizaban (primera vez que me pasa) Un cuatro estrellas de los de jabón líquido en baño y se acabó, con mala insonorización y una red WiFi que apenas funciona. Desayuno normalito , distante de 4 estrellas. Buen emplazamiento pero de esos hay muchos. En fin, por fortuna cuando viajo puedo elegir hoteles de calidad y este aún no tengo claro de dónde saca las cuatro estrellas. Hotel María Cristina, última vez que lo piso

L'hôtel est à l'extérieur de la ville antique de Toledo, il est plus approprié de partir pour la conduite automatique. L'hôtel a un parking désigné qui peut être arrêté, ou mieux de parker. À partir de l'hôtel, il est environ vingt minutes de marche à la ville antique de Toledo. La chambre est grande, c'est que la salle de bain n'est pas très bonne.

Le personnel de l' hôtel était très utile . À notre grande surprise, malgré les meubles à l'intérieur de la chambre étaient très vieilles , ils étaient très propres et toutes les installations de la chambre et de la salle de bain étaient très bien conçues et confortables. Le salon est très confortable, le salon est très confortable et le salon est très confortable. L'hôtel est situé à pied des pistes qui mènent aux collines touristiques. Nous pouvons facilement trouver un parking gratuit autour de l'hôtel. Nous pensons que c'est le meilleur hôtel que nous avons eu pendant notre voyage de 16 jours en Espagne. C'est vraiment de la valeur de l'argent. Si nous rentrons à Toledo, nous choisirons certainement cet hôtel à nouveau.

Puis ils ont volé mon sac à ma femme dans une salle privée au 2ème étage et avec un garçon qui contrôle l'accès au buffet, le voleur ou les voleurs passe par réception, il est allé dans la salle de buffet, il a parlé au garçon q qui contrôle l'accès (car je l'ai vu et je le confirme) et je ne sais pas pourquoi ils lui ont laissé rester dans le salon (à moi ils m'ont demandé de passer) et ils nous ont volé notre poche dans un détour. Je pense qu'il faudrait être beaucoup plus attentif à l'accès, nous verrons comment ça finira. Parmi les 3000 € Q ont été retirés de la carte et plus de 1000 € de pertes par argent, meuble, lunettes, clés de voiture, etc, le séjour m'a fait passer un pic. N'oubliez rien. L'hôtel refuse en principe toute responsabilité et on me dit que vous n'avez pas l'assurance de répondre du vol, nous verrons si les conseils de santé peuvent m'engager dans cette affaire.

L'hôtel a été réservé à l'origine, sachant qu'il était dans les environs de la ville, ils avaient un bus de transport gratuit pour atténuer la situation. Il n'a pas été renvoyé à la service, même après la coude, ce qui a entraîné 34 euros de frais de taxi inattendus. Cependant, ce qui était vraiment irréaliste était que je ne pouvais pas payer le billet en euros. (avec les taux de change inflation et un 7.9% marqué.). J'ai essayé un certain nombre de cartes et d'options alternatives, mais j'ai toujours été contraint d'utiliser cette option. Le glace sur le gâteau était quand j'ai noté mon recette à la maison et il a déclaré que ”Je accepte que j'ai été offert un choix de devises pour le paiement”. Ils ont accepté ceci mais 3 jours plus tard, ils ont été dits que leur compte était ”en vacances” pour attendre une semaine. Maintenant que la date est passée, ils ne me ignorent que - un mois depuis mon séjour!! Il est très confortable et confortable.

We stayed on a trip from Madrid to Toledo whilst heading to Alicante. Located about 15 minutes outside Toledo at the side of a golf course. We regretted the decision pretty much on arrival. The building is large and well appointed and overlooks the golf course. Sadly it would appear that there were no other guests, failing that they were hiding in the large disused building next door! Reception staff were helpful and friendly, the room was large and well appointed but just felt like it hadn’t been used recently. The fridge unit still carried letters saying that it wasn’t filled due to Covid , as it was full but with no prices we assumed that this was a holdover to the previous pandemic. Or perhaps getting organised for the next one. Despite a full fridge there was no milk or milk powder for drinks, or a price list to indicate the basis they’d been supplied on. We decided to take down the sealed extra duvet as it was cold , only to find large pieces of red stain - blood make up we weren’t sure. Really off putting The bar was closed when we arrived at about 5 in the afternoon and may as well have been when we arrived back about ten 30 pm All in all we were genuinely dissapointed and couldn’t reccomend any one staying here . Perhaps with more guests it might have been better but we won’t be back
