The Ranch Suites

The room was shabby and sorely in need of a paint job. We were the only guests that night but it was noisy because of the close proximity to the road. There were multiple stains throughout the room including what appeared to be mold and dirt on the surface, stains and sticky residue on top of the refrigerator, dead roach carcass on carpet and the suite was very dusty. We were too tired to seek other accommodations so we stayed. The only positive was the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and we were told the rate would be adjusted to reflect the Military discount, it was not. There were no amenities (pool, continental breakfast, etc.). For the price, $177.12, I can not recommend this location. The following night we booked a beautiful suite at Marriott Homewood Suites in Richardson which included suite, pool, gym, continental breakfast and complimentary drinks and snacks. We got Marriot quality at a lower rate.

We love The Ranch Suites! We have stayed there twice now while visiting family nearby. The staff is SO friendly and helpful. The rooms are always clean and well stocked with everything we need. We will stay here every time we come into town, no doubt about it!

Very nice stay. Bonnie makes sure you have everything you need. Clean and well-appointed suites. I highly recommend this hotel. Suites have two rooms, bath & closet. The beds are comfortable and the air conditioning works well. Well worth the price.

Big room with full kitchen and cold ac near the lake and bbq across street and cute lil place next door with food and entertainment at night. If staying overnight or a several this is the place to stay.

This cozy, comfortable hotel is family owned. We stayed for 4 days visiting family. We enjoyed it so much! Everything was perfect for us. It’s an older accommodation but well taken care of and the owners are more than accommodating. We loved it and would stay again.

Unique stay. Not a lot around the area, but relaxing and very large rooms with a full kitchen. It was off season, so rather laid back atmosphere. Sitting areas outside, close to a 2 lane fairly busy road. Family atmosphere with an area to walk in and about 8 rooms off the enclosed area, plus some other direct entry rooms. Not anything like a motel chain.
