The BEST b&b we have stayed in,Steve & Joe was absolutely incredible, friendly,welcoming,the room we stayed in(room6) was spotless,an unbelievable welcoming package,homemade cakes,which was beautiful,a draw full of sweeties & chocolate,breakfast was delicious, sausages amazing,they also gave us a little picnic bag for our journey back to Manchester,we’ll definitely be back

Just back from a lovely weekend at the Garway. Joseph and Steve made us so welcome. The room was very comfortable and it was spotlessly clean The breakfast was great and the homemade fudge and cake in the room was a lovely gesture and much appreciated. We will definitely be back Lydia & Mike x

Just spent a Saturday night here. I can't rave about it enough. The owners Steve & Joseph couldn't have done more to make the stay unbeatable. Cup of tea and a lovely chat on arrival. Lovely room with fresh fudge and cake, crisps and other goodies. A really reasonable honesty bar and cosy room to sit in at the front of the house. The breakfast was great. Traditional breakfast, pastries, fruit salad yoghurts and locally sourced. This is the best B & B I have stayed in and would 100% go back again. Thank you for making the stay so great Steve & Joseph!

My stay at Garway Lodge has been second to none. Joseph and Steve have thought of everything - and I mean everything - to make time here comfortable and welcoming. A wonderful one week, and will certainly come again. Thank you so much to you both.

My fiancée and I loved our short stay at Garway Lodge. The booking was seamless and when we arrived we were greeted by Joseph and Steve (and their cat Mr. Bear) who are very friendly and explained everything really well. They provided a mix of snacks and drinks for our room, including homemade fudge and cake which were delicious. Our room was decorated really well and was very comfortable to stay in. Our cooked breakfast the following day was delicious and overall their home was very welcoming. We would definitely stay at Garway Lodge again and would highly recommend staying there.

Catch these guys while you can ! They are committed to a very high end experience. House has just been redecorated throughout. Lovely decor and vintage pieces of furniture. Beds v comfy. Great showers. Breakfast was a great spread - with the full English as a highlight. We sat and chatted with Steve & Joe both evenings - made to feel very much at home. Just excellent all round.

Simply delightful Three exceptional night’s stay at this simply delightful guest house in Torquay. The owners were so very friendly and attentive and went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Ensuring we had everything we needed and always offering more. The guest house itself was immaculate. So very tastefully decorated and with every comfort imaginable. So many little extras in the room really made for such a luxurious feel. The warm and comfortable visitor lounge with honesty bar was a lovely place to relax in the evening too. With the relatively short walk (10 minutes fast pace for me) to the sea front and harbour I enjoyed early morning walks before heading back to the guest house to freshen up before breakfast. Joseph’s breakfasts were just amazing, everything locally sourced and tasting so fresh and delicious. Steve’s excellent home cooked cakes and goodies were such a welcome treat. Massive thanks to both Joseph and Steve for a fabulous stay. I would highly recommend this guest house to anyone visiting the area.

We stayed at the Garway Lodge whilst visiting family in Torquay. The lodge was easy to find with off road parking. We were made extremely welcome by Joseph & Steven. The room was decorated to a very high standard and was very comfortable with tea and coffee facilities and complimentary snacks. There was a good choice for breakfast using local produce. The cakes were delicious! Joseph & Steven are dedicated to ensure their guests enjoy their stay and their attention to detail was obvious. We would certainly stay with them again.

Can't fault this place fantastic hosts best stay ever, clean comfortable bed dressing gowns fresh coffee homemade cake chocolate crisps cookies water bucks fizz all complementary amazing breakfast Netflix on tv and homemade cake to go home with must admit didn't want to leave
