This lovely townhouse will become your home away from home, while visiting Durham. This 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home is nestled in a family friendly neighborhood and offers everything you need to enjoy your time here. It's the perfect blend of tranquil and convenient. Located just minutes from I40 and a short drive to both Downtown Durham and Chapel Hill. Enjoy cooking in a fully stocked kitchen, granite counters and all stainless steel appliances followed by a nice evening in the fenced courtyard! The space Kitchen- Stainless steal appliances, granite counter tops, fully stocked with pots and pans, A kitchen bar that seats 2. Dining table-Seats 4 (plus two seats and kitchen bar) Living room- 75" TV with Roku, non working fireplace. Bathroom #1-Half bath, toilet and Sink Bedroom #1 Master- King bed, work area with desk and chair, ceiling fan, plantation shutters. Bathroom #2 Master- Separate tiled shower and Jacuzzi bathtub, tiled floors, double vanity, custom built walk in closet. ***Upstairs*** Enter into an open lounge/game room are with a 40" Roku TV, board games, couch and a full size bed for the littles to sleep on after playing! Bedroom #2- Two full size beds, corner book shelf, Dresser Bathroom #3- Connected between bedrooms 2 and 3. Jack and Jill bathroom, walk in shower, separate bath tub, tiled floors. Bedroom #3- Queen bed, book shelves, shared Jack and Jill bathroom with bedroom 2 Parking- Parking in driveway behind the townhome. Two cars can fit in the drive way and 1 or 2 cars can park in the gravel opposite the driveway. **Please note garage can not be used by guest and is not accessible. *Getting around** RDU airport-15 Miles Duke Hospital-6.6 Miles UNC Hospital-7.4 Miles Downtown Durham-7.0 Miles Downtown Chapel Hill-5.2 Miles New Hope Commons (shopping center)-1.3 miles Outback Steak House- 1.3 Miles Kanki Japanese restaurant-1.3 miles Trader Joe's-2.8 Miles Walmart-1.3 Miles Target-2.6 miles Guest access Guest will have access to a key via a lockbox. Access code will be sent the night before check in. Other things to note *YMCA Access: We have worked it out with the YMCA that our guests can use their facilities for free for up to 7 consecutive days. They have 4 locations in Durham with multiple pools, gyms, tennis courts, racquetball courts, etc. You can also use the YMCA’s in Chapel Hill and Raleigh. Please remember to declare the total number of guests in your booking, including children aged 2 and up, in accordance with VRBO policy. This helps us ensure a comfortable stay for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation! We will not be available in person and communicate through the app. We have a team of people who can help you within 5-10 minutes. Two cars allowed in the driveway. Others park on gravel street. A Total of 3 cars max. -Outside quiet hours go from 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. -Parties: We do NOT allow parties. If you have a special event or gathering request, we will consider each request on a case-by-case basis. If there is evidence that a non-approved party/gathering has been thrown, you will be assessed an extra cleaning fee up to $500. -Overnight Guests: Please make sure you enter the accurate overnight guest count when booking. As you can imagine, when 1-2 people spend the night, the wear and tear on the house is far less than when additional guests are in the house. Although this property can sleep more than 2 guests, the base price is for 2 people. There is a $15 per night price increase for each additional guest staying in the house over 2 people (the exception is for infants under 12 months.) Putting in your accurate overnight guest numbers PRIOR to booking will ensure you can see what the correct price will be for your stay. -Visitors: We are perfectly fine with you having family or friends visit you during your stay. If you are planning to have more than 2 visitors who will NOT be spending the night, please let us know. At no point can there be more people at the property than the maximum house capacity listed. (For example: if the house sleeps 8 and allows you to book for 8 people, then there can never be more than 8 people at the property – even if they are just visitors stopping by.) If this rule is not abided by, there will be a $40 fee per unapproved visitor. -Fire/Smoke: It is a house rule that there are to be no fires, candles, smoking or burning of any kind in the property. This does include not having any fires in the fireplace. We charge a $200 fee if there is any indication of any form of burning/smoke in the house. (This is for the safety of our guests and to protect the property.) -The space below the carport (downstairs house) is not included in this rental. - Excessive mess: If the property is left excessively dirty there will be a $100 fee for extra cleaning. - Late check-out fee: Late check-outs are allowed only if explicitly approved. If approved prior to arrival you can check-out as late as 11:00 a.m. with no charge. There is a $25 charge per hour if we extend anytime beyond 11:00 a.m. and the latest we can let someone checkout is 1:00 p.m. For day of late check-out requests there is a $35 per hour charge. If not approved, there will be a $50 charge for a 30 minute late check-out. If the guest has not left the property after 2 hours they will be charged for a full additional day. This does not allow the guest to stay an additional night; it's a penalty fee. This extra day fee is without discounts. - Guests must provide a working telephone number. If the telephone number does not work then the reservation can be canceled without refund. - For each undeclared guest there will be a $40 charge. - We will always go above and beyond for you. That said, if you have a complaint about any aspect of the property (amenities, cleanliness, etc) upon sharing the complaint to us or VRBO you are authorizing us to come into the property to fix it. - Locals must contact host before booking. - There is a $100 fine for each unapproved pet. - Any house rules broken are grounds for immediate removal from the property without refund.About pets:No pets allowed.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.About customRules:We do NOT allow parties.
