I visited this place with my wife in July 2025. We were travelling to Trinco for 2 days. We were running late so we contacted the property. They asked us the approximate time we would take to reach the place and informed us that they would keep the a/c on an hour before we reach so we would be comfortable on arrival. This one act of service is where I would start off my opinion of this place. Here the service is something other hotels need to ponder upon. The staff are very friendly. They make sure to find out our needs and try to resolve it asap. They helped us find a good deal for snorkeling in Pidgeon island, they prepared a special Sri Lankan style breakfast and lunch on our request, they arranged transport for us in the early hours of the morning (Pickme/Uber was not responding at that time) at the last moment with no extra charge and so on. The friendly service and attention to our care really touched us and made our trip more memorable. In respect to the rooms, there is some aspects that need attention. Shower Plumbing, exhaust were issues, itsy bitsy details missing that would otherwise perfect the stay there. But the room was neat, washroom was clean, moderately sound insulated room. The basic facilities needed in a 3-4 star room were met. The pool was small but ok, but if you are spending your time around Alles Garden and the beach, the pool is irrelevant. I would say that, I really enjoyed my stay there. I really thank the staff there. I hope you continue to provide such wonderful service and hopefully if fate gives us a chance, we would definitely visit the property again. Thank you Havana Club.
