Belgravia B&B

Lovely and bright B&B, we enjoyed our 1 night stay in the Serenade Room which was very comfortable. D’Arcy was a welcoming & excellent host and breakfast of fruit, freshly cooked eggs and muffins was delicious. We would stay here again if ever back in the area. Recommended.

The host, D’Arcy, makes a traveler feel like a guest in an exquisite home. Every room is elegant and spotlessly clean. He also serves a multicourse gourmet breakfast every morning. He is very considerate of his guests’ dietary needs, and confers with them about any allergies that they might have. A wonderful home to rest and relax. A best place. Highly recommended. Belgravia is an outstanding B&B in an excellent quiet neighbourhood location near restaurants and the Truro Farmer’s market. D’Arcy and Anne greet you with genuine warmth and are the nicest people. They live there with their family of four so it has a very personal feeling. The rooms are comfortable with many nice touches. A wall full of best sellers if you need reading material. There is a sitting area inside and a covered back porch. I was out there early by myself and D’Arcy brought me coffee, unprompted, a very gracious touch. The breakfasts are, as many have commented, above and beyond, out of this world. D’Arcy, a retired teacher, could have been a great chef. There were fresh muffins, maple granola, and choice of eggs on spinach with back bacon. Mine was perfectly poached. Utterly delicious way to start the day. Belgravia is a gem in a very nice town.
