Manoir de Turqueville les Quatre Etoiles

Amazing rooms - we booked the family room and it had 2 bedrooms as well as a living space and beautiful bath/shower room. It really felt like a 5 star hotel. Gites have clearly upped their game since the 1980s when I last stayed. One member of our family thought the linen was too stiff. which I can see, but it was brand new cotton. and I personally thought it was fine (and I'm usually the fussy one about linen!)

We, along with two other couples, spent four nights with Laure and Matthieu and from the first night’s cocktail with Matthieu’s homemade apple cider to the last evening’s family dinner everything was perfect. The location is perfect for touring the most significant Normandy sites, the grounds are welcoming and well manicured, and the accommodations are clean and comfortable. All this is to be expected by the experienced traveler but what was unexpected was the exceedingly warm hospitality and the genuine feeling of “family!” This was enhanced by their beautiful and well behaved children, Louis and Clemenceau. The included breakfast was wonderful with fresh juices and excellent French pastries, croissants and other breads. Matthieu prepared two gourmet dinners for us during our stay with he and Laure joining us — continuing that feeling of family. Manoir Les Quatre Estoiles is the best of the best!

We zijn hier voor een bezoek aan Normandië twee nachten gebleven. Heerlijke plek! Zeer leuk ingerichte B&B. Prachtige kamers, prima badkamer. De sfeer die er hing was heel huiselijk. 's Ochtends een heerlijk ontbijt. Hier konden we ook de andere bezoekers zien. De communicatie met de eigenares was wat lastig, omdat ze bijna geen Engels sprak en ons Frans is ook niet erg goed. Met handen en voeten kwamen we er wel uit. De eigenares en eigenaar waren zeer hartelijk en vriendelijk. Een aanrader!
