Hotel Herberg 1883

At the arrival we had been positive surprised but then after a while disappointed and a bit shocked . + - this place has allot of potential - good located to reach the beach and cities ,but you need a car. - Family and pet friendly - breakfast simple but good - friendly staff - - the potential is not used - no shops on premises - no instructions how to use the pool - for some the aircraft Noise could be negative - not enough cups ,silverware . - we could not use the sun umbrella as it was Brocken - the charging points for the car are not working with a credit card ,you need to be a Ecotap member . Biggest negative point which was also discussing . We found out on the morning we left after we pulled Down the bed sheets . Full of urine stains , never seen so many ,pictures are attached . In my opinion hygiene should always be top priority, when something like this happens the owner is not very interested in his hotel , sorry but this is an absolute no go !!

Positief: omgeving is mooi om te fietsen. We hebben hier 3 nachten geslapen. De accommodatie die men als hotel aanbied zijn chalets die afzonderlijk staan op een recreatiepark. Diner de eerste avond was goed. Toen kwamen we er achter dat er geen föhn aanwezig was. Gevraagd bij de “receptie” (bar van het restaurant) deze gingen er voor zorgen, helaas föhn niet te vinden. Volgende morgen nogmaals gevraagd en housekeeping heeft het uiteindelijk verzorgd. Ontbijt was goed, op de lauwe melk na (“collega was vergeten deze in de koelkast te zetten”). Na aandringen een glas koude melk uit de vriezer gekregen. Housekeeping was goed, maar aanvullen van badschuim en toiletpapier liet te wensen over. Kortom hotel zonder hotel faciliteiten. Maar dan komt het ergste nog, het park ligt in het verlengde van de start/landingsbanen van Schiphol. Elke 2 minuten komt er gemiddeld zo’n grote vogel over met een oorverdovend kabaal. Dus voor je rust moet je hier niet zitten.
