Hôtels près de Mino Restauratore Mosaici, Venise

Our first,and probably our only ever visit to Venice and we wanted it to be just perfect.This hotel appeared to suit our needs so we went ahead and booked our 3 night stay.It wasn't cheap.Several advanced requests were made to ensure we had the best time ever ( twin beds,top floor,hot drink making facilities in room) and these requests were followed up with an email nearer the time which was acknowledged. We chose to pre book a shared water taxi from the airport which took us to a stop about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The first sight of the Venetian canals is one that will remain with me forever ❤ The first glimpse of the hotel set at the side of a tranquil canal in a beautiful, quiet district of Venice filled us with confidence. We had taken the early flight so was there 3 hours before check in time and storing our bags wasn't a problem.The Concierge completed the check in process and when I mentioned (again)the special request ( medical) for twin beds turned out this had not been actioned.😥 A half hearted attempt to sell me a dearer room was met by a polite,yet firm me pointing out the 2 earlier requests and I was told it would be sorted for our return 3 hours later. Later on being shown to our room the bed situation had been sorted along with a complimentary kettle and tra tray ( dont forget to ask) we were not however on the top floor but fortunately those in the room above were not elephants and I settled for 2 out of 3 of my requests being sorted though at the price we were paying was surprised I had to force the issue. Thank goodness it was midweek and the hotel was not full. First day the wi fi was down ( ” We're working on it”) and subsequent days it appeared to get turned off at midnight. Not great for insomniacs like me. The room was quiet,spotlessly clean & spacious though the view of the staff smoking courtyard was not as Venetian as we might have liked. Breakfast was self serve continental and adequate though the coffee machine took some working out by which time the drink was luke warm.The staff member at breakfast was so good. We didn't drink/ eat at the bar. There are plenty of more atmospheric ( and cheaper) bars within 5 minutes walk. What impressed us most was the location of the hotel.Its beautiful. Alongside a quiet picturesque canal yet only 15/20 minutes walk into the hustle and bustle of Venice .

Accès facile par vaporetti (bus d'eau 2 quitter la gare de Venezia Santa Lucia). Le quartier calme, la maison a été restaurée de manière positive (je me souviens de la jeunesse au départ des séjours précédents du siècle dernier;-)) J'ai eu la réception chaude.

J'étais très inquiet avant mon arrivée à cause des critiques mitigées, j'ai donc été agréablement surpris à mon arrivée. Les chambres sont propres. L'emplacement était génial car il n'est qu'à quelques minutes à pied de la gare et juste à côté du canal. Cependant, le petit-déjeuner était intéressant car nous étions entourés d'abeilles et d'oiseaux agressifs prêts à voler votre nourriture à tout moment. Le personnel était serviable. Un merci spécial à la serveuse qui a aidé à calmer ma fille lorsqu'elle s'est fait piquer par une abeille.

We stayed as a couple in October and found the hotel to be conveniently situated in a nice area with easy access to the water bus terminal. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice enough with modern design. The shower is on the small side and I found the mattress uncomfortable however my wife found it acceptable. The breakfast was not great and the coffee poor for Italy but there are plenty of places for coffee and breakfast within a five minute walk. Overall I would return to this hotel as it’s an ideal base with clean rooms in a nice area and a convenient location, when visiting Venice your not going to be spending that much time in the hotel.

Nous avons réservé un ”appartement pour 2 avec salle de bain” à l'hôtel Ariel Silva. Quand nous y sommes arrivés, ils nous ont dit que notre appartement était en fait dans une partie complètement différente de Venise (800 m de loin) et qu'ils n'avaient pas de disponibilité à l'endroit le plus proche. J'avais réservé la chambre, surtout parce qu'elle était très proche de la gare, mais maintenant nous avons eu une très longue marche. Si j'avais peut-être fait quelque chose de mal quand j'avais réservé et n'avais pas d'autres options, nous n'avons pris la chambre qu'à noter quand nous y sommes arrivés qu'elle avait une salle de bains partagée ! Je ne sais pas quel genre d'affaires il avait dans les rues, mais ce n'était pas un hôtel normal ou touriste. Nous n'avons pas dormi cette nuit. Nous avons essayé d'obtenir une compensation pour notre mauvaise chambre, mais l'hôtel était très inutile. Afficher les écrans de notre réservation n'a pas aidé. Ils ont insisté sur que nous avons la chambre que nous avons réservée. Juste une catastrophe totale! Je me sens trompé !

Séjour de nuits sur place. Idéalement situé à 50m du Rialto et pourtant assez calme la nuit (malgré la soirée d'Halloween et aussi la finale de Rugby ...). Check-in très simple dans un hôtel Small Luxury of the World situé à 100m. Accès sécurisé à un appartement vraiment spacieux (2 chambres dans notre cas) avec une vraie petite cuisine toute équipée, un salon-salleà manger et 2 salles de bain très fonctionnelles. Déco au goût du jour (rare à Venise ...). Double vitrage et volet en métal très efficaces. 2 supermarchés à moins de 100m et plein de petits restos où acheter à emporter très aisément. Seuls bémols (il en faut !): des moustiques, comme partout à Venise. Pas de grille-pain (mais le four fait le job!). Pas de coffre-fort dans la chambre (mais porte blindée +++) Check-out: laisser la clé dans l'appartement en partant ! Avec 3 enfants, nous étions vraiment comme à la maison et hyper facilement connectés au coeur de la ville. On y retournerait sans hésiter et le recommandera à nos proches !

We stayed at the Hotel Panorama for a long weekend and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. The taxi transport from the airport was seamless even though we were a bit worried about having to get the boat to the Lido very late in the evening. The hotel was very welcoming and our room was lovely, large and very comfortable with a sea view across the bay. Breakfast was plentiful and very relaxed and the weather was warm enough to have coffee on the terrace which was a welcome bonus. The hotel reception team arranged a free trip to Murano which was facinating and they also organised a private water taxi tour around Venice which was well worth it. They are so friendly & knowledgeable. The hotel was also within waking distance to some lovely restaurants and we walked to the beaches which took about 10 minutes and was worth it. The hotel is also directly opposite the water bus station so it made it so easy for getting about. It was nice to come back to a quieter area in the evening with the most amazing views. All in all a very lovely weekend. Thankyou!

Le restaurant est très confortable et très confortable. Il y a beaucoup de bons bars et restaurants dans la région. Nous avons tout particulièrement apprécié al parlamento qui est juste à côté de l'hôtel - belle pizza et cocktails! Dans l'hôtel nous avons trouvé une douche chaude, des serviettes propres tous les jours et un air-con travail. Le petit déjeuner est très bas et nous n'en mangeons que 2 des 4 jours que nous avons séjournés. Si vous cherchez un grand repas pour vous mettre en place pour le jour vous serez déçu, mais si vous avez besoin d'un café rapide, il va bien. Si vous avez l'intention de passer plus de jour, vous pouvez payer un supplément pour un hôtel plus cher.

Hôtel charmant situé dans un quartier calme tout en étant proche du Rialto ( 10 minutes à pieds ). Chambre spacieuse et bien équipée ( demandez la 202, elle donne sur le canal ). Décoration typiquement vénitienne Personnels accueillants et disponibles. Petits déjeuners copieux. Petit plus : accès à volonté à un petit snack avec rafraîchissements et en-cas. Nous y retournerons sans hésiter.

Très beau séjour dans ce bel hôtel face à la lagune. L'emplacement est parfait pour visiter venise. L'hôtel est à 10 minutes à pieds du vaporetto qui vous emmène à venise en 15 minutes. Chambre spacieuse avec très belle vue. Petit déjeuner copieux . Le personnel est très agréable et accueillant. Je vous conseille cet hôtel. C'est un excellent rapport qualité prix.
