L'hôtel doit être un vieil hôtel et les installations ont l'air assez vieilles ; l'emplacement est bon et le parking est gratuit. L'inconvénient est que le petit déjeuner est trop simple et pas frais. Aux États-Unis, ce type de chambre est généralement équipé d'un four à micro-ondes, mais ils n'ont pas de four à micro-ondes. Il est très gênant pour les clients tardifs de réchauffer un repas rapide.

La première fois que je réservais un séjour avec Trip et bien que le processus global de réservation ait été facile, le séjour à l'hôtel a été un peu terne. Avant l'arrivée, nous n'avons reçu aucune information d'enregistrement ; J'ai eu un peu de mal à contacter l'hôtel pour obtenir cette information. Pour ma part, je pense que je me suis trompé en ne fournissant pas mes coordonnées (apparemment). J'ai contacté la réception et la femme à qui j'ai parlé était super courtoise et s'était excusée à l'avance pour les retards. On nous a dit que notre chambre serait prête à 17h au lieu de l'heure opposée à 4. Nous avons fini par arriver à 17h de toute façon, donc le temps n'était pas un problème. Quand nous sommes arrivés, tout était assez propre à l'exception de quelques serviettes qui avaient des taches brunes. Nous manquions de papier toilette, de serviettes en papier et d'autres petits essentiels. Nous avons pu obtenir ces choses le lendemain matin, ce qui était super. Mon autre plainte était que certaines choses ont été laissées pour compte; c'est à dire; quelqu'un a laissé une paire de leurs Crocs et du savon en barre dans la douche. Même si ces choses étaient des problèmes mineurs pour moi, ce n'est certainement pas suffisant pour me faire perdre le sommeil. Lieu : 10/10. 5 minutes (ou moins) à pied de la plage. Je réserverais certainement encore cet endroit tant que ces problèmes ne seront pas un problème à l'avenir.

Nous avons séjourné ici pour quelques nuits pour le week-end de la Journée mémorative. Le restaurant Ox et Ocean était à quelques pas, ce qui a fait très bien d'ordonner le départ et de manger à notre patio. Le parking sous-terrain était également très confortable, car il était juste un court vol de l'escalier ou de l'ascenseur à notre chambre. Bien que nous ayons eu quelques problèmes mineurs avec les contrôles de température en essayant de garder la chambre froide à la nuit, cela a été facilement réparé en gardant les fenêtres ouvertes et en laissant la brise froide entrer. I am so disappointed in the Hiltons for allowing all the rooms to have pets. I don't care how clean the animal is and that you take a deposit. Animals leave hair and smells. Our room smelled a little when we first came in but smelt like cleaning chemicals. My husband went to bed right away and sat around for a while and I started sneezing. Then i thought a smelled pee. I went to bed. I woke up all night smelling pee and dog. then I got up to go to the bathroom and the carpet was wet. I guess they had just cleaned the floors and tried to get the smell out. It didn't work. It was disgusting. I woke up with a horrible headache, They did give us another room the next day that didn't smell like animals. Come on Hilton you need to designate certain rooms for animals.

Il n'y a pas beaucoup de places de parking à l'intérieur, le bord de la route peut être arrêté à la porte. L'hôtel est dans la vieille ville, une petite rue, très proche de la voie rapide, mais pas bruyante, à environ 1 km d'Ole, le café d'à côté est bon, la route Il y a un barbecue en libre service du côté opposé, ce qui est aussi très bon. Il est bon de faire une pause ou une halte shopping.

We decided to go to Ojai for my wife's birthday on March 22, 2023. She thought it would be fun to stay in a place that was built the year she was born and so did I. The online photos and aesthetic are admittedly cool, but that where it ends. I get really peeved with a too cool for school” attitude in restaurants and other establishments in the hospitality space. That's this place. But aside from that vibe, there are HUGE issues with this “hotel” (motel really), chief of which are the PAPER THIN WALLS. Next is the bathroom. Remember. This renovation was done in 2020. So with Covid, wear and tear should be minimal by early 2023 when we visited. The bathroom door is made of particle board which was completely swollen and ruined by water damage from the shower that features a fitted glass wall that only covers half the stall. As a result water sprays all over the wall and floor and even if you try to use the bath mat, it's completely soaked after a shower. Poor, impractical design. The Daiken brand AC was also odd. I've used many mini-split systems, but this one did not feature a remote that operated as a thermostat. Sure, it had a temperature setting, but no readout out of what temperature the room was CURRENTLY at, so there is no way to know where to set the temp relative to that. The in-room coffee and tea consists of a kettle and instant coffee. No Nespresso or other coffee service found in other boutique hotels of this price range. I assumed they were encouraging us to come to the lobby to enjoy their coffee ”service” which features paper cups (okay fine) but no lids. Crazy. And Like seriously - do you think people aren't going to want to take their coffee away or back to the room? Where’s the kids?! Oh, and as a cherry on the top, add bad WiFi that only worked part of the time. Good thing our t-mobile data devices worked there. A cheap, ill-conceived cosmetic renovation does not a boutique motel make. Others have mentioned all of these things in prior reviews, so l'm not saying anything new here. Listen to them, and us. I don't know if there are better options in Ojai, but I know you should avoid the Capri.
