Avis : Vigan Plaza Hotel

WiFi is very slow and the breakfast is underwhelming. Early check in was a plus and the location in very prime from Calle Crisologo. Soundproofing was terrible. I think preserving the old hotel and the architecture were good gestures but these sacrificed the comfort of the guests staying.

Place was classic and it bringas you back to old Filipino times. I really love the fact that the hotel is very Filipino, it is located where Calle Crisologo is. They have well preserved the hotel. Service is also nice. The room is clean but take note since it is a classic hotel the floor is made of wood and there is a loud sound everytime your will walk in the floor. I didn’t upload the hotel inside but I did upload photos pf what you will see as soon as you step out of the hotel. They have kalesa/carriage at the front of the hotel. And you will see everything you wanted to see in the area by checking-in in this hotel.

The hotel is part of this historical place. It’s part of history and the management did great in maintaining it. However, with the hotel built with wood, the creaking of the floor every step you make can get either annoying or creepy. Lol.

Very nice and Impressive hotel, strategic location with good car parking space. Center of everything such as food, tourist spot, watson, photo taking, food, souvenir and many more. Staff is friendly and caring, smile all the time and very accomodating. Smoker like me is happy as there is smoking area very near to the room (request room 206 then you would understand what I mean for smoker). The Vegan Plaza Hotel is situated in the best location - at the beginning of Calle Chrisilogo street. It is convenient and easy to get around to any place from here. The kalesa (horse and carriage) and the tricycles are located right in front of the hotel. The fountain is a 7 min walk from here and an 8 min ride to the bus station. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful. Anything that you requested was seen to immediately and with a smile. Breakfast was ok, there should be more variety. They provide in room massage which was great. They have 2 restaurants which provides a a variety of local dishes. Bathroom is little small in size, however, the shower was awesome. This is a very good hotel and I would certainly stay here again when I come to Vigan. Wonderful stay.

I booked this hotel because they have good reviews here in Tripadvisor. I also did a bit more research by checking for reviews in YouTube, but I found no significamt vlogs about this hotel. Our room was located at the ground floor. We were surprised to find out that there was no fridge, and no coffee cups and electric kettle (which are hotel basics) inside the room. We wondered why the bathroom was dimly-lighted, only to find out that the light behind the vanity mirror was not working. I called the attention of the hotel staff to report it and he said: "sira na po talaga ang ilaw nyan"... its really disappointing that they are aware of it and seems like they have no plans to have it fixed. The AC was also at the lowest temp setting but the room was just slightly cold. We were too tired from our llocos tours during the day and was expecting a comfortable sleep at night, but we just have to sleep without the blankets as we will definitely sweat if we use them. Breakfast: thank God we didn't pay for an expensive room at this hotel, because the plated breakfast (weekday) and the buffet breakfast (weekend) is just good enough to have something in your tummy. We were not expecting a grand selection since we paid for the cheaper room, but imagine paying for their suite rooms and have a breakfast buffet of low quality corned beef, hard-boiled egg, overcooked mixed vegetables, etc. The only good thing about this hotel is that majority of their staff are very polite and friendly. Also, the location is perfect for tourists as this is centrally located and very convenient if you wish to tour around by walking. l hope that your manager will ensure that every room will have cold ACs, working lights especially in the bathroom, fridge and electric kettle with cups and saucers, and better breakfast quality. We dont expect bacon or croissants, hopefully just better version of what you typically serve. I really wanted to give two stars for this review, but I will give an additional star for the polite and friendly staff.

The hotel is within walking distance of Calle Crisologo and most restaurants and shops. The rooms are cozy and comfortable, especially after a very tiring day, They provide free breakfast and the staff are kind. The only problem I had was with their WiFi, it was only available in the lobby and did not reach the rooms.

This was our first time to visit Vigan and I relied on others’ reviews and gut feeling as I would normally with every booking I do. I contacted the hotel when I have shortlisted some accommodations and Vigan Plaza Hotel was clear and put forward what packages/ promo they have on offer during time of enquiry. The communication from their staff was topnotch. Quick to reply and addresses with clarity every enquiry I had. Travelling with elderlies they were clear that there are no lifts due to the age of the property. The property is very well maintained and the location is amazing, right at the centre of Crisologo. Can’t get better that lm that. A few steps to the Cathedral and the main plaza where people gather which we soaked in well for that local culture. The staffs were attentive & friendly. The room is well equipped and very clean. The bed was amazingly comfortable. You can tell that they invested on a good mattress and was one of their priority to keep clients happy. The room had a welcome fruit platter, snacks , coffee/ tea . Well supplied. Toiletries were provided too. Breakfast was included in the price. Although sufficient enough and have decent choices, could do with larger serving. Overall, happy with our stay. And they even validated my parents senior card local ID. So we got a bit of a discount.

We loved our room!!! It was clean and cozy. Everyone was also super nice and accommodating to all our requests. The food at Cafe Bigaa also did not disappoint, good food and coffee!! Will definitely book here again when we go back in Vigan!! :)

Well spent vacation. Staff were very accommodating. Good food. Relaxing and cozy room. The hotel location is accessible to all establishments. I Definitely come back to stay. I love Vigan. I highly recommend the place to my friends and colleagues

Accessible. Walking distance from the dancing fountain. Had a great stay with my family and the complimentary breakfast is good! Staffs are friendly and accommodating. They even allowed our foods to be placed in their freezer. Thank you vigan plaza hotel!

it was a really great stay, also so convenient since it's located at the center, so just a li'l walk from there to there. Everything was nice! Had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff was friendly, rooms were clean and comfy, and the overall atmosphere was fantastic. Highly recommend for a pleasant and enjoyable experience.

The staff at Vigan Hotel Plaza were very attentive to our needs. Room was very clean and breakfast provided was delicious. The hotel is right next Plaza Burgos and Plaza Salcedo which are perfect hangout areas and great to watch the Dancing Lights, a main attraction of the town. It’s also very close to many restaurants, with a Seven Eleven close by and Calle Crisologo just down the road so it’s a highly convenient location.
