Thermal Hotel Visegrád

We visited the hotel several times. It is gradually being renovated, from the new interiors of the rooms, the restaurant to the new sunbeds by the pools. The service in the restaurant has also improved. The chefs deserve an award as the cuisine is excellent. There used to be two pools marked as thermal, now it is only one and it feels even the one with a lower temperature. Unfortunately, no one regulates children in the one thermal pool, which also gives the hotel its name. Parents don't know that their young children can overheat and the staff avoids this obstruction. Maybe this is the reason for the reduction in the number of thermal pools (34+ °C).

Quick check-in process, nice parking space. This is a must visit hotel if you are spending more than two days in Budapest and would like to just have a glimpse of a little suburban geography Hungary has to offer. Surrounded by lush green forestry hills, this property can keep you busy entire day, especially if you are with kids there’s a lot for the kids. Highlight of the property is of course the amazing thermal pools, both indoors and outdoors. The temperature of water in the pool was just appropriate for both adults and kids. Hotel staff is quick in delivering good service. Rooms are clean and most of the rooms provide dreamer view from the balcony. Though my room didn’t had electric kettle and tea/coffee which was little weird considering the hotel status. Overall we had a lovely time over weekend and would highly recommend to people visiting Visegrád for the first time.
