Azur Hotel Volos ★★★★
"La location parfaite du port de ferry. Les chambres sont très propres et très confortables."
Domotel Xenia Volos ★★★★★
"Ça va."
Portaria Hotel ★★★★
"hôtel très bon avec un personnel aimable et aideux et des chambres confortables. Belle piscine extérieure et espace pour les enfants à jouer. Il y a un balcon avec une vue magnifique dans la salle de diner, nous avons apprécié nos petits-déjeuners là. Situé à proximité du centre ville."
Hotel Hani Zisi ★★
"Unfortunately, there was a big problem with the fireplace. In the hour that I was able to sit down (because I assumed it was something temporary), I found that the entire 1st floor had a big problem, since it was leaking smoke! When I asked the hotel if there was another room that wasn't leaking, the answer was negative, and the reason for the problem was that it was leaking because "wind is blowing and we can't do anything about it"!!!! Unfortunately for the hotel managers, I work for a technical company and have (also) worked on chimney installations. Therefore, I know that when the chimney is leaking smoke, it's not the wind's fault! Quite simply, either the construction is wrong or the chimney has not been maintained. Too bad, because the place seemed to be about the same as the photos, even if the room (triple) needed a renovation, while the tavern outside looked amazing. I say it seemed because I didn't sit down to eat, of course. Finally, the manager, in addition to writing me down in a place where ink doesn't get caught in my remarks about the tobacco, almost shouted at me (classic behavior of a Greek "businessman" when he doesn't need the customer) because I told him that I would delay leaving a little until I found another place to stay. And because I didn't want to "poison" (literally, because I have respiratory problems, and figuratively) my vacation any more, I got up and left. My "poisoning" cost me an overnight stay, as is also provided for by the hotel's policy. I was expecting something better because of the inconvenience, since I finally found somewhere to stay in the afternoon, and not in the mountains of course, but we said, it was August 15th and they didn't need us, so..."
Aegli Hotel Volos ★★★
"hôtel classique avec tout ce qu'un voyageur a besoin, par exemple: personnel aide, chambre propre. Réfrigérateur dans la chambre, climatisation, qui ne cesse pas de travailler après avoir quitté la chambre. Bon petit déjeuner. Le lit était trop doux pour moi, mais c'est une préférence personnelle. Bon petit déjeuner."
1910 Lifestyle Hotel ★★★★
"The hotel is conveniently located, about a 10 minute walk from the port. The room is small but clean and tidy. Breakfast is good, and the view is excellent. I booked a sea-view room, which indeed offers a nice sea view, but it is also next to the road, so it can be a bit noisy at night."
Valeni Boutique Hotel & Spa ★★★★
"We had a horrible moment when arriving at this hotel. Staff was unexperienced, not expetienced, ,saying there where not responsible for any problem..leading the peoblems to « manager » . Please avoid tjos place! Neveg again!!! To sad because the location is beautifull,"
Hôtel Argo ★
"I recommend this hotel if you’re going to be getting on the ferry or not. It’s a very nice hotel. The staff was fabulous. The room was great and the bed was awesome."
Salina Premium Residences Volos ★★★

Valis Resort Hotel
"The hotel does not quite live up to 5-star standards, although it has a few positive aspects. The room was large and spacious, but poorly ventilated, with signs of dampness – which can be an issue, especially for guests with mold allergies. In the bathroom, several details required attention: the sink faucet was broken, the bathtub had no plug, the jacuzzi system was out of service, there was no shower curtain (making showers uncomfortable and slippery), and the entrance door was damaged. Additionally, the cabinet housing the fridge was swollen from moisture. Regarding general facilities, the absence of a terrace or balcony was a drawback. The air conditioning in the hallways was not working, and there was a persistent smell of fried food from the kitchen, combined with stained carpets in the corridors, which created an unpleasant atmosphere. At night, the noise from the air conditioning compressors was disturbing. As for the beach, I did not ask or check about its location, but the photos might give the impression that the hotel is right next to it – which is not the case. Breakfast was generous, though not very varied. Overall, the experience felt closer to a 3-star stay rather than a 5-star one."
Elite Cottages
Hotel Pelion Resort
"Just a one-night stay, but I was impressed by the courtesy and welcoming of the staff. The room was very clean and the bathroom was spotless. The hotel is mostly made up of two-storey houses built on a hill overlooking the city of Volos with nice pathways and a swimming pool and bar in the middle. Although it was almost fully-booked, the peace and quiet was overwhelming at night. Short distance from Portaria main square, take your car there if you cannot handle the steep 15-minute walk."
Despotiko
"Le petit déjeuner était excellent avec une grande variété d'articles. La chambre était propre et confortable. Elle a besoin d'une petite maintenance dans la chambre. Très calme, sauf pour les cloches de l'église, mais il n'y a rien que vous puissiez faire à ce sujet. Excellent value in a charming town. Highly recommended. Location is within walking distance from restaurants and shops. Excellent value."
Palladio Hotel - Portaria
"The room was awful when you entered the room.Of the five rooms only in one had towels, so we could get us to the rest of their rooms we asked for it three times and they finally brought them in the evening. The worst was that they did not turn on the heating, and in the rooms the temperature barely reached 18 degrees (then they closed the heating and fell to 16). Every 2-3 hours we had the time to look for the person responsible to do something with the burner that didn't work (even at 4 o'clock we were looking to turn on the heating so we wouldn't freeze). You understand that in a mountain destination and indeed in winter this is a big problem; the score with 1 star is done because there is no 0 (or even less)."
Manthos Mountain Resort & Spa
"A great experience underlined by beautiful surroundings, the warmth of the staff and the fresh products served at the restaurant. We loved the breakfast with fresh eggs and other fresh produce at the buffet. Dinner was great with simple yet, tasty and local products. Walking around the resort makes you "switch off" as the natural setting is out of this world. And if you love sports you will not be disappointed. An indoor basketball court is available to train. For those who love nature, renting suite 115 is second to none as you get to sleep with the window open and hear the sound of the water flowing by the neighboring river."
Palladio Hotel
Xenia Palace Portaria
"Very good looking room, very clean, great staff, and a very cozy Christmas environment; what else could you ask for around December? The lobby is a place to have a seat and enjoy a book or in case you have to work, take your laptop/tablet and be productive. They also have a great breakfast!"
Salina Spa Villas - with Private Heated Eco-Pool, Sauna & Jaccuzi Hot Tub
Tasia Mountain Hotel
"The hotel was centrally located for visiting both the east and west coasts of the northern area of the Pelion peninsula, (an area known for its winding roads which take a long time to get around). It was also spotlessly clean & comfortable and the breakfast superb. However, what makes this hotel really special is the warm, family atmosphere created by Anastasia who does everything she can to make your stay extra special. We would give her 15 out of 10 if we could! There is nothing to dislike but customers should be aware that out of season, there are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity and we therefore profited from Anastasia's snack menu each evening."
Catherine Portaria Guest House
Erofili Hotel & Suites
"I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone! Too overpriced for what you get! The rooms are dark and outdated and in need of a serious upgrade. The breakfast is very minimalistic, only 3 people work in the whole hotel I guess the owner try to save money but they charge the guests top money for their stay! Im highly disappointed!"
