We have been In this hotel for New Years Eve. Hotel is located In beautiful historical building from 1905y. Room 232 was very comfortable, elegant, well equiped with wonderful view. Bathroom little out of date. Beds are comfortable. Ski room is outside, In front of the hotel. Parking. Amazing spa with saunas, indoor and outdoor heating pool with bobles ( You can lay and observe the moon and stars). Outdoor jacuzzi and sauna. You get towel and special sheet to sauna. Swimming Pool and spa are open from 9 am to 9 pm! Breakfast is excellent! Dinner to. Huge selection very tasty food. Weiters are profesional. They put knives, forks and spoons on table In white gloves! Every evening is wonderful live piano music In the lobby. Party for New Years Eve was elegant, with delicious food with live music and super concert Gladiator group. Hotel is very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel. They have only one thing to change. It is coffee. Coffee is realy not tasty.

We stayed at the Grandhotel Praha in August 2022, after a 15 year absence from this historic property in the High Tatra mountains of northern Slovakia. This hotel is fantastic! The rooms had been renovated since our previous stay. We had the Half Board option, so breakfast & dinner were included. Both meal services were delicious, and varied each day. The spa in the hotel was wonderful, with dry & wet heat options, and a cold dip pool. The spa was busy each day, but not overly crowded. Hiking options up the mountain will appeal to anyone, from a casual day hiker to more serious mountain climber types. Service in the hotel is impeccable. The front desk, restaurant, & bar all have excellent staff. Two who especially stood out were Natália & Jan in the bar / restaurant, both great team members. Jan’s mixologist skills were impressive, and Natália was an exceptional server. Both made our stay much more enjoyable. Something that stood out to me was how rude some guests were to the staff; we saw scenes that were borderline abusive. Difficult guests seem to have too much power in hotels like this, with staff having no choice but to smile and accommodate them. I hope the Grandhotel Praha appreciates their superior team and treats them well! Overall I highly recommend this property, and look forward to staying here again in the future!

Their service is exceptionally good and supportive. They are going extra mile to to serve customers. Atmosphere is warm and friendly. Rooms are perfect with beautiful view. Pools are one of the bests to enjoy . I highly recommend it for visitors of Slovakia.

Been here second time and will come again. We had breakfasts and dinners included and both been 10/10 every day. Food there is really good with many choices. Wellness is also 10/10 is big spacious and with everything What should be there plus there is outside pool too. Rooms are big and modern in that newer part of the hotel. Staff is friendly and profesional except for one slightly rude receptionist on our arrival, then we meet her again for few times another days and also on our check-out and she was ok. We spend lot of times out hiking and eating and it was very easy to get everywhere from the hotel or from Tatranská Lomnica. But they should add extra train carriage on peak times. Then Tatranská Lomnica also need to wake up a bit as to compare it to Zakopane for example where always something happen and somwthing going on and live music is almost everywhere and atmosphere is much better, Tatranská Lomnica is not like that. Anyway this hotel worth a visit our overall experience was both times 10/10 and if you visit do not skip Stará mama restaurant closed to train station with Slovakian traditional food and go for a hike in those beatiful mountains. There are lot of hikes for begeniers too or just stay and relax is this amazing historic wellness hotel in mountains.

We stayed here 2 nights and we enjoyed this stay fullest. Our suite called "modern" but unfortunately it was far away from it. Room was quite big and spacious, but furniture was oldschool. But we've got nice view from our balcony. In our bathroom was waiting for us very cute box with some cosmetic products. Unfortunately we could not use kitchen (what for we chose suite), cause there was absolutely not basic cooking ingredients (like salt, pepper, oil etc) and there was only one cooking pot (but two plates cooking)... Breakfast was absolutely fabulous, 5 stars. Dinner was also delicious. Wellness was great. We really appreciated skipasses included in our stay and enjoyed not planned trip to Lomnicky peak and skiing as well. We would like to come back again.
