We completely renovated our ground floor condo the end of 2020. It’s located at George's Lighthouse Pointe on Ochlockonee Bay. The large back porch has a beautiful view of the boat basin/marina and a side view of the bay. Within walking distance is Angelo's Restaurant, regularly voted as one of the Top 100 Restaurants in Florida
Beautifully decorated Two bedroom over 900 sq. ft. One King size bed and one Bunk room with full size beds. Brand new beautifully updated kitchen with every day life amenities. All new bath including new tiled shower and upgraded vanity. The living room features leather sofa and love seat.
The closest beach is Mashes Sand (approx 2 miles). Enjoy the new bike/walking trails leading to the beach. Next are beautiful Alligator Point and Bald Point State Park (approx 7 miles). With a short drive you can also enjoy Carabelle or St George Island.
The fishing is great in this area. You can fish in the Bay, book a Deep Sea Charter with a licensed captain or go down the river for fresh water fishing.
Great restaurants in the area. Right next door is Angelos, within a mile or two there is Tropical Traders, Hamaknockers, Seinyard Rock Landing. Make sure you stop by Mineral Springs seafood. Always fresh seafood. Amazing seafood dips and the smoked salmon is the best I’ve ever had.
We have equipped the condo with indoor games as well as basketball, pickelball rackets and balls, beach chairs and 2 bikes.
The Condo/Home Owners Association does not allow us to rent with pets. Please don’t try to sneak one in. It will not be permitted and you will be asked to leave without a refund. We have a family member who stays with us regularly who is allergic to most animal hair.
There is not space available to boat trailers but I do have a contact who rents both dry storage or boat slips behind the condo.

Weekend get away
We were very pleased with our stay. We were in town for a wedding and wanted to incorporate a weekend get away. The condo was perfect. Clean, comfortable, kitchen well stocked, grill, coffee maker, plenty of hot water. My husband loved the reclining love seat. The neighborhood was quite, and the people were friendly. The pool was wonderful, restaurants close by, and a nice gas station/market across the street for a "we forgot to bring something for breakfast" stop. On the way home, we were making plans to go back for a fishing trip.

Post Christmas Getaway
After visiting family in central Florida, we were looking for a nice quiet few days. We found it! Beautiful condo with all the needed amenities. We played a round of golf at St. James and spent an afternoon on St. George’s Island. Definitely worth another visit.

Great short stay in Panacea
This is a great condo, perfect for two adults. Cute beachy decor, had all the essentials. We loved exploring Mashes Sands beach and paddling on the Wakulla river. Would definitely recommend. The owners were very responsive to my multiple inquiries! Thank you!

Wonderful condo!
This was a wonderful condo with really nice decor. Lovely views and very peaceful the week we were there. The pool is really close and convenient. We unfortunately were sick most of the week so we didn’t get to do a whole lot but we got to relax and in a nice place. On the first day the TV didn’t work and the owner was so kind to drive down to look at it and even brought a different tv so we would wouldn’t be out a tv all week. We really appreciated that! I would definitely recommend a stay here!

Panacea
Our overall stay was awesome. The check-in/out process was seamless. The home was clean, the owners thought of every possible thing you may need during your stay. The area is very quiet, so the stay was extremely relaxing. I would highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet getaway close to the water.
