Avis : Premier Inn Worcester (M5,Jct6)

We booked a family room but were given a standard double room into which they had also squeezed a single bed and something akin to a toddler bed for my 8yo child. When he lay down to sleep, his head hit the sharp edge of the bedside table he’d been wedged against in place of a headboard and cut his head open. The staff on reception were useless, had no training (or sympathy) or first aid kit, so I had to do the best I could with toilet paper and eyewash (the only thing they gave me). The “Manager” Jake Davis said the above was nothing to do with him and consequently avoided all emails and telephone calls when I was asking for a refund. Additionally, although we gave our registration on arrival, I received two parking fines for the time I stayed because there was an error by the staff, which I then had to spend time and effort getting cancelled. The hotel itself was dirty and tired with the worst breakfast I’ve ever had at a Premier Inn. Terrible room in a terrible hotel with terrible staff. Stay ANYWHERE else if you can.

Awful. Room boiling and a small desktop fan and not as advertised. Customer care did nothing at all to rectify and left after an hour.

Convenient hotel just off the motorway. Bus stop outside for travel into Worcester. Comfy beds. Good car parking. No restaurant currently as the Beefeater is being demolished and an extension to the hotel will provide one. Pop-up breakfast van outside is very good.

Great staff, good location and free parking and clean rooms Staff also went the extra mile. Would recommend this hotel as the city centre one has no parking

Unfortunately the restaurant was part way being knocked down so food not available . The reception staff were very dismissive waving a leaflet at us of places nearby but needing either 15 minutes walk or a drive. Not something you want after a long journey. We were woken at 3.55am by a large lorry loading up pieces of machinery I assume from the building site!!!! At this point we gave up and left. No, we won't be back

I stayed twice here, and both times they let me store my expressed Breastmilk for my 3 month old son within there fridge overnight. I was SO grateful for this as I was aware that there wasn't any fridges in the room and the breastmilk had been in a cool box all day travelling and was concerned about the coldness off it over night to make aure I didn't have to throw it away. But EVERY receptionist, were amazing.. either took it or gave it back without a worry. Which I was so grateful for as this was a worry for me, as a first time expressing mum. Thank you.

Booked this online, nothing to say there are no food facilities or bar. When I arrived I was told there is no restaurant or bar as the Beefeater attached to it had closed. It would have been nice to unwind with a meal and a glass of wine. I drove down the road to pizza delight for food. Next morning breakfast baps were served from a static cabin in the car park. That is fine, I thought at least I could have something to eat before I set off. It was awful, served from food warmers, bacon and sausages were pale and looked uncooked, just tasteless. Took 2 bites and threw it away. I think it is great that they are still providing a facility for breakfasts but it was really bad. The good bit, the room was clean, staff friendly and I slept like a log.

Stayed here with the family while on a short break. First of all the food things - the staff were friendly and helpful and there was lots of parking. Everything in the room worked, breakfast was good. All that said there are many drawbacks to this hotel. First off there is no AC and with the very hot weather recently it was extremely hot and to make matters worse there was no way to get decent ventilation to cool the room down - I'd say the conditions were borderline dangerous. In the room where were too few sockets making phone charging tricky and the TV was very small. The attached pub looks to have been a Beefeater and is in the process of shutting down. They did served breakfast there but it looks like that might change to breakfast to go in future. So the hotel did the job, just about, but it's clearly going down hill.

It looks like theyre going to do this place up, and it needs it. The restaurant is the worst ive been in and looks derelict. im sure itll all be good once the work has been completed.

We paid for two family rooms, but were given standard rooms with an additional single bed and what can only be described as a toddler camping bed shoved in front of one of the bedside tables (where - incidentally - my son hit & cut open his head because it was behind his pillow). There was no first aid kit at Reception - all they gave us was a selection of eyewashes, so we left blood on one of the pillows, which I really hope they cleaned afterwards. Also, the cooked the breakfast was pretty terrible (a shame as it's usually the best part of staying in a Premier Inn) and they need a second coffee machine for busy breakfast times. No air conditioning (although a brightly lit, noisy fan was provided). Obviously you can hear traffic from the room with the window open, but I expected this given its location. The positives? Close to where we needed to be, sufficient parking and the staff were friendly,

Disappointed this time. Have used Premier for ages, probably over 30 times. Usually good. This hotel at Worcester is hard to find, and not signposted. Google Maps can’t find it, sends you round in circles. Reception person was abrupt and impatient, barking questions at you nonstop while you’re trying to register your car. Restaurant being demolished soon, staff there also unfriendly. Carpets in the hotel a bit worn, paintwork scuffed and marked, some of the room lights not working. Staircase creaky and old. Probably won’t stay here again. Hope they get it in shape. Maybe do some more recruiting.

Great place to stay mainly because Jake the manager and his staff are really helpful and friendly and a great asset to the company

One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed in and 100% the worst Premier Inn. Not only were the staff rude, unhelpful and blunt, but everything was unclean. There was a Greggs wrapper under the bed when neither me nor the other guest had even been there. The toilets were all disgusting in the bar and food area. They knew we were all there as a huge booking for a family wedding and they were unbelievably rude. Thank god we only stayed one night and moved to a much better venue, but do yourself a favour and don’t even go at all.

Staff and service was exceptional. Very helpful and polite and kind at all times. The only reason I gave 3 stars is because the room was not immaculately clean as well as the bathroom. There was mould and rust visible. However there was a good fan available in the room in the heatwave which was very much appreciated. The breakfast was also very good and had good variety and good value for money.
