Hôtels proches de Capitol Hill United Methodist Church, Washington D.C.

PROS: Stood here for the weekend with my partner. Aesthetically, the hotel is super artsy, fun, and pleasing to the eye. The decor and appearance screams chic, quirky, and metropolitan. From the lobby, adorned with all manners of interesting books, odd trinkets, and colorful sculptures, to the cute, cozy outdoor sitting space filled with pretty greenery, I could not stop raving about this hotel the entire trip. The style of the rooms could very much be described as a European “take” on the well-known Japanese “Pod” style hotels. The rooms were concise (not cramped) and had a sleek, modern, and minimalistic style of furniture (desk with chair, bench, vanity w/sink, bed-frame with built in storage space). Think “IKEA meets stylish, retro Japanese pod hotel”. If that makes sense. LOL. Plus everything in the room is controlled using an iPad which I think it pretty flipping cool. SMART TV in the room, as well, meaning unlimited access to YouTube, Netflix, or pretty much anything that can stream from your phone/device which is perfect after a long day exploring the city. (You can also change the color of the mood lighting in the room via the IPad which provided my boyfriend and I with hours of entertainment pretending we were post apocalyptic humans trapped in some green-tinted “Twilight Zone” style alien bunker) Also, if you prefer a hard mattress, you will find the hotel bed very comfortable. During our time here, we had easy access to a LOT of good food. There’s 2 restaurants inside the hotel as well as a really great Middle Eastern restaurant directly across the street. (I approve of their falafel and roasted sweet potatoes. Very good). There are so many cultural and ethnic restaurants in the immediate area for those who are adventurous eaters. There’s even a pretty nice Trader Joe’s around 4 blocks away for stocking the hotel room with healthy snacks and beverages (a must). Plus Union Market is pretty close to the hotel. I wouldn’t miss it if I were you. Big hall with lots of food vendors and even a little shopping. Even if you aren’t looking to eat and just want to kill a little time, it’s still interesting to walk around and see the cool and unique foods they sell. Soak up the little local color. Overall, it was a totally unique and memorable hotel experience that was totally worth the cost. Well done. LF

Rien à dire sur l'hôtel en lui même, la micro chambre correspondait aux photos donc pas beaucoup de places mais suffisant pour quelques jours. Le staff était toujours très agréable et apte à répondre à nos questions. Il est d'ailleurs possible de laisser les bagages à l'accueil et revenir les chercher le soir sans frais ce qui est un très bon point. Toiletteries et serviettes comprise ce qui est pratique pour quelques jours. Toutefois, nous avions lu sur divers commentaires que l'emplacement était sur. Or, l'hôtel se trouve à l'entrée de chinatown où de nombreuses personnes sans domicile fixes dorment. Donc autant dire que en tant que femme je ne me sentais pas en sécurité pour me promener dans ce quartier une fois le soleil couché. En quelques pas on passait vraiment du tout au tout.

Je suis venu à l'Holiday Inn Express avec deux de mes amis et le directeur adjoint, Ibrahim, a été très utile lorsque nous avons eu des difficultés à nous enregistrer et il a été très utile tout au long du processus pour nous aider. Très professionnel et mon ami et moi reviendrons certainement. dans cet hôtel à cause de lui.

La location est magnifique et l'atmosphère est précieuse dans cette belle maison historique. La chambre de haut niveau a une belle salle de bains victorienne avec des charges de lumière naturelle par la lumière du ciel. Notre entrée a été rassemblée pour un séjour de quatre nuits, même si notre coût d'hébergement avait déjà été couvert par une organisation basée à Boston, MA. La transaction bancaire extravagante et non autorisée n'a été réversée qu'après que mon mari avait fait plusieurs menaces de signaler la fraude avec notre banque en Afrique du Sud. Après ce passage, grâce à la réussite de la résolution, les membres du personnel de la réception étaient efficaces et amicaux. Les propriétaires/gesteurs /stakeholders sauront que cet établissement est à un prix élevé et que les clients payants méritent un service digne, un respect et une honnêteté dans l'ensemble.

Was incredibly excited to come here and was not disappointed! Everything lived up to expectations that I have read online. I stayed in the all female dorm and everybody was super welcoming and kind (from the staff to the dorm mates). The pods them selves are very spacious and clean. Since I only had a carry-on suitcase it was super easy to store my luggage. The only thing I was nervous about with the self check-in process, and even that was super easy and only took me a split second to do! The café next to it is also a small and wonderful perk of staying here. When I come back to the DC area I’m definitely going to be staying here again. I would highly recommend U-Street Capsule to anybody coming out of state or flying internationally.

The hotel is huge and one of the more affordable one around DC. The aircon in the room is a little noisy but the operation guy came and says that’s the way it is. I asked for kettle to boil water and it came quite quickly though. There’s a usd20 surcharge per room per night but you can offset by meals in the hotel. The front desk also provides bottled water FOC upon request. Overall an ok stay.

Nous avons séjourné quelques jours dans cet hôtel qui représente une très bonne option. Idéalement situé à quelques minutes à pied du métro, proche de nombreux restaurants et d'une rue agréablement animée. Il est aussi sur la ligne du bus qui vous emmène au zoo en quelques minutes. L'hôtel est chaleureux et calme, à la décoration très agréable. Le personnel est très agréable et rend service de façon très efficace en cas de besoin.

L'hôtel est très nouveau, la chambre est grande et très proche de l'Université de Maryland. Un excellent hôtel, les installations sportives dans la salle de sport sont également très variées et offrent des toilettes et de l'eau minière, ce qui vous permet de ne pas porter de réserves pendant votre sport.

Tout va bien, peut être plus propre. Restez sur les serviettes et les bugs dans la chambre.

J'étais là à l'hôtel, réservant ce jour parce que ma mère était à Walter Reed. La jeune dame d'entrée est si compassionnée et compréhensible. Très excellent service client! L'hôtel est à seulement un kilomètre et demi de Walter Reed qui a fait très pratique de rentrer et de partager les pistes dans leur garage et de sortir tôt le matin. Vous obtenez certainement plus de valeur pour vos points que Marriott.
