Budget Inn Wentzville

The only reason that we stayed here was because we had been driving all day and it was getting late. What a mistake! The room smelled terrible and was filthy. I killed a bug in the bathroom. The sheets had holes in them and the towels were gray. We couldn't bring ourselves to use the shower. The billboard advertised free breakfast. However, when we went to the reception area to get our morning coffee, we were told, "Honey, I don't know where she put the coffee maker". By the way, there IS NO breakfast. The sign should have been changed years ago. We will NEVER stop here again!! It was terr6!!

I had reserved and paid for a room through **********. When I arrived at the hotel I was informed that they had no reservation for me but they had a room available. Since I was road weary I paid AGAIN for the room. Either the hotel or ********** ripped me off! Outside security locks were inoperable so any passerby could walk in. Security latch on room door was broken. i asked for extra towels so I could take a shower on arrival and again before leaving. The desk clerk refused my request. Pool was closed and appeared to have been closed for a long time. No cookies, donuts, etc for breakfast. Not even coffee in the lobby or room. Location is somewhat inconvenient. There are no restaurants, fast food or quick marts within walking distance. My advice is to spend a few more bucks and stay somewhere better. After all, you may end up paying twice for your room here.
