Very good hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Location wise it is great. Near many great smaller shops and stalls and of course the famous Wuma street. The rooms were spacious and comfy. Very clean and always fully stocked with drinks and goodies. We were in a rush so didn’t get to try out all the food that were included in the stay. Three meals a day included in the stay was a great deal. They had a broad selection of food. The hotel lobby was always fully stocked with snacks that were complementary. Great for hungry little kids. The outside of the hotel might look old, but don’t let that fool you. Inside it looked brand new. The rooms were equipped with every thing one needs when on vacation. No need to bring toothbrushes or razors to this hotel. The staff was great and very helpful. The only downside is the gym and parking. If you are a training nut, you really can’t call the gym a gym. No weights. There is also no free parking. Other then that, the hotel was great. Great location, great staff, great rooms and all food and drinks were included. I would highly recommend to stay here. We had 2 rooms since we have older children.

I had a lovely stay at this hotel, it’s very clean and new. The staff went beyond and above my expectations from the first minute of being there. They sent me delicious snacks and tea, as well as a face was. The receptionists were very helpful and professional. The room was spacious and the bed and pillows very comfortable. Not sure if someone takes care of the clothes that’s left in the laundry room, because I left a notice hoping that they will put my clothes to the dryer after it’s washed, but when I came back the notice wasn’t there and my clothes was still in the washing machine. I wish there were more western style breakfast options.

My main reason for choosing this hotel was the expectation of a nice long swimming pool but it was closed until 17 February. I also booked a deluxe room because of the city view but that was not supplied. However, our room on the mountain side was very nice so we did not accept their offer to move. The hotel is almost new and the staff extremely pleasant. The design and facilities are excellent. The breakfasts are superb. The laundry is excellent and free of charge. A bit far from the river and city centre if you don’t have transport.

Excellent staff and service. Front desk staff are very nice and try very hard to help but I must say that they dont know much about the tourist spots.  Only one small issue is that the small lotion bottle was used by previous guest and the big shower gel bottle was empty when I checked in.  Breakfast quality and variety is excellent (relative to other Marriott/Shangrila chains in China or globally). The gym is not usable since they put in a children play structure so basically is occupied by kids all day long.  Thank you for all the friendly staff from front to also kitchen and housekeeping!
