Blakeney Guest House

This was nice and unusual, very friendly lady books you in and explains everything, they dont have a breakfast room, you order your food as room service, telling what time you want it and what food you want. There is a list in the very clean bedroom and you drop it into a box by the front door. I was only there one night but thought it was very good.

Turned up to the B&B and was skeptical at first but when we checked in it was easy enough and we were greated by a lovely lady. There was free parking which allowed us to park the car right out the front of the b&b which gave us a sense of security. The room it self was clean and modern, we were impressed. I think the set out of the room was really good, obviously if a family of 4/5 was to book then this would be the perfect room for them due to the amount of space. There also was like a dining area which i thought was really impressive to have. The only problem is you can hear everything going on around you in this building. On the first morning i was exhausted after travelling 5 hours to the destination the night before, so i went out for some breakfast and came back to my room for a nap. Then at around 10:30am, i was woke up by what seemed to be a speaker blasting music and someone singing along to it. I’m not sure if this was just while someone was cleaning and prepping for new guests arriving and i wouldn’t normally complain but just i think it’s abit inconsiderate to the guests who may be still in there rooms and possibly just having a rest. Please take this into consideration for the future so you do not upset guests by doing this. Although this was annoying, all in all it was a good stay. We booked for 2 nights but only ended up staying for 1 and headed home early. We didn’t get to try the breakfast here as we went else where. The location is great, it is right near the town centre and also just a couple minute walk away from a tesco supermarket and restaurants near by. Unfortunately we didn’t get to stay long enough to check places out. I do believe this was worth the money we spent to stay, what more could you want from a B&B. There is breakfast included, a clean room and an en suite.

Stayed in room no:1. Small room with windows high up so was no view of anything which was a shame, always stayed in BnB where there was a view regardless if it was the sea etc. the room was a bit dark but got use to it. Breakfast was served to the room next morning which was lovely to have breakfast in the room. The food was lovely and tasty. The staff were very pleasant and always willing to help. I did enjoy the stay with my 2yr old. Nice little walk to the sea front from hotel.

Needed somewhere for 1 night stopover. This was perfect for the price. Room was small but we had everything we needed, loads of nice little touches. Toilet and shower, hot drinks, TV, fan over the bed etc. You fill out a breakfast form and it's delivered to your room at your requested time the next morning. Breakfast was delicious, eggs cooked perfectly. Had a good night's sleep and good breakfast for a great price 😊

I needed a cheap and cheerful room for a few nights , and booked it with booking dot com. The rooms have had a recent renovation, although small ,they had everything and more someone could need , Breakfast ordered night before and bought to room , (no problem) Owners were very helpful , short walk from front , I did spot a larger room suite down stairs,

Pulled up outside the property and contemplated booking something else. We called, and somebody came out and showed us where to park. We had room 8 on the ground floor and this totally exceeded our expectations. Comfy bed, bright decor great TV, lovely bathroom and very clean. A couple of tips: The girl who met us at the door, although a great personality and professional, was dressed inappropriately. Remember guys, first impressions count. The breakfast was a great idea in the room. Delivered on time. A couple of small tweeks would lift it massively. Don't deep fry the sausages. Look at slightly better products.Buy an egg poacher, the eggs were like bullets. Charge more! You could charge so much more with a few small changes. As I said, still well exceeded our expectations and i would really recomend this place at around this price.
