Hôtels près de Manakoru Gardens, Whakamarama

Booked last minute as a birthday treat. Did not realise on booking that you had to check in before 6pm, I called at 5.55 to let them know we were 10 minutes alway but no answer. Arrived just after 6pm, had to call the after hours we were meet by a man, we had already prepaid the room which was $266 for a bottom floor, one bedroom apartment. He told us we needed to pay a bond which I assumed would be $50-$100. We had to pay a $250 bond upfront to stay here. That was our dinner and activities money for the night. So had to cancel our plans. The room was dated, there was no body/hair wash left. There was no milk in the fridge so couldn't make a hot drink. As others have mentioned there are signs all over the room about extra charges, if you ring them after 9pm for anything you will get charged, if you leave anything in the room you will be charged and even more unnecessary fees. Tiny rubbish bin. The room was a good size but the headboard on the double bed isn't attached so everytime you turn over it bangs and so when you are there for a child free night you can imagine how much it was banging. It was right next to the road and it was a raining miserable night and it was loud, cars driving past, people walking/running past you can hear everything, image it during the busy season. The noise from the above room you can here people walking around. We were quite disappointed so I had a look at the other reviews this morning and I really wish I had of read them before booking here :( On check out which you had to wait as they are only there at reception between 8.30-10am on weekends. I asked the man to refund my $250 bond and he said that he can't and it won't be refunded until about Tuesday but it can take 10 business days. We had said about the missing amenities and he didn't care. Then we asked about all the bad reviews and he started getting angry. My husband reliased we had left a bag in the room and wanted to go get it and as we were approaching the room my husband made a comment about no wonder you have so many bad reviews and he told my husband to shut his mouth and he locked the room door and said to get out! He was not going to allow us to go back into the room to get our things. And said to ring the police if we wanted our stuff back. By this stage my husband was really mad and I ended up needing to call the police so they could go get our stuff from the room. Our uber driver had shown up and manager/man on reception had disappeared and some other lady that was obviously to what was happening came out and I said can I just get the key and I'll go get our stuff since we don't actually have to check out until 10am and she was saying I can't, I don't know what is happening. A couple minutes later she comes back in with our bag and continued to argue. Even the uber driver heard it and he is a 70 year old man and he came in to the reception and said they should not of been treating customer how they treated us. I will be going to

Le centre de l'hôtel est situé dans le centre de l'hôtel. Je réserve des appartements servis quand je voyage, de sorte que je puis préparer mon propre repas. Les cuisines sont souvent très mal équipées. Peut-être il n'y a pas de saveur, ni d'ouverture de la boîte, ni de pelleterie végétale. Celui-ci avait tout ce que j'avais besoin pour une fois! Les gars de Quest ont pris ma commande de livraison et ont même mis les choses dans le congélateur et le réfrigérateur comme ils le voulaient (J'ai eu d'autres endroits pour laisser de la nourriture congelée à la gorge). Il est calme et bien situé pour le centre-ville. Wi-Fi illimité est un vrai plus. Je ne suis pas beaucoup d'un téléspectateur, mais il semblait y avoir un service Sky complet.

A very comfortable room with under carport parking. Two rooms to separate us and give the teenager some privacy. Wonderful, warm, and friendly staff. Easy to use laundry. Warm and high pressure shower. Comfortable bed. Great kitchenette with saucepans, hot plate, fridge. Just off the road, but we didn't hear any vehicle noise. Air-conditioning worked a treat

La position de l'hôtel est au centre-ville, manger et faire du petit gâteau est également pratique. Comme l'hôtel de commerce, la chambre est très grande et propre. Le seul problème est que les lumières intelligentes sont éteintes à la nuit, et je ne sais pas si je n'ai pas été réglée pour laisser les lumières à la nuit.

Bien que les installations soient vieux, elles sont fonctionnelles, il y a une chaleur, proche de Hobbie, une bonne nuit

Due to a family emergency I stayed here three nights at short notice - lucky to get a room as it is in high demand. The executive studios are good-sized and clean, with new appliances, air conditioning and large TV with access to Sky plus personally-subscribed providers like Netflix etc. Reception very accessible, and from conversations I learned the proprietor has a lot of international experience running high end accommodation. Free parking, and literally across the road from Tauranga Hospital's main entrance. The CBD is a few minutes' drive away, supermarket and eateries within walking distance. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again - terrific

Nous avons passé une nuit ici. Bon prix pour l'argent, les lits étaient bons, avec un épargne privée bonus après un long jour. Très propre et chaleureuse et une confortable unité de sol, que nous avions demandé. L'arrivée au lieu où vous ne savez pas que Tauranga était une mission la dernière ronde avec des lumières de trafic juste avant que la route était confusionnante, mais ce n'est pas la bataille du motel. Il a dit la machine à café sur la publicité, pas de plongeur ou de machine mais de plongeur de café fourni ...... afin qu'il ait pu être pris. Si nous étions restés plus longtemps, je leur aurais demandé. Tout à fait confortable.

Nous avons séjourné ici pour 4 nuits dans une des chambres à chaises à roues et à part la première nuit (l'alarme de feu a échoué à 4 h 30 du matin, et nous avons dû être évacués sur la route principale, Nous avons eu un séjour confortable ici. L'hôtel dispose d'un parc de voiture sécurisé couvert qui coûte normalement 10 $ par jour, mais nous avons inclus cela dans notre tarif de chambre comme une promotion lors de la réservation en ligne, l'hôtel est dans une bonne position, pas loin de quelques belles restaurants et pubs. Il y a un magnifique café à quelques portes de l'hôtel où nous avons eu le petit déjeuner chaque matin de notre séjour appelé le Café Mediterraneo. Le salon était au plus haut étage de l'hôtel et plus loin des escaliers et de l'ascenseur, il n'y avait pas de procédure d'évacuation. Si un vrai feu avait été fait, nous n'avrions pas eu la chance de sortir.
