Wonderful find, greeted very warmly shown our room which was fresh and clean very shabby chic and quaint, everything that you would need was provided just beautiful. The dinner and the breakfast was delicious, the place had a lovely flow to it charming , relaxing, the garden is beautiful to watch the world go by as you enjoy your drink, credit to all the staff. Left feeling so relaxed, can’t wait to go back to try the Sunday lunch and stay again.

Warm welcome, friendly staff. Tidy and clean room, nice location. I'm sure we will be back when next in the area. Pity had to leave before breakfast, sure that would have treat. Parking could be little tight but we were lucky and found a space.. Oh yes great sausage roll

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Very welcoming, friendly staff, room was lovely clean and tidy the place overall was absolutely fantastic. Happened to come across this place last minute as I was working up in the area. So the next time I'm working in the area I will definitely stay at this place.

Nice rural pub, with good freshly cooked food. Went at lunch time, menu a bit more limited than the evening menu. It was pretty quite, no need to book. Food was very nice. Service was good. It is a nice pub inside and would be great to visit in summer with their outdoor seating.

First of all ,i had a great sleep bed was great, ( room 1 ) Shower was good perfect flow. toilet basin however was in need of bleach and a good clean, that let the room down. kettle needs updating as it was the slowest kettle ever ! i like my cuppa. Breakfast was very poor value and luke-warm ,plate was cold. 1 small round sausage 1 half a tomato 1 half of a mushroom, streaky bacon?? 2 pieces,beans were swimming in sauce, Altogether would have preferred to miss out altogether and go to Mac's.

We booked three nights b& b optional. After some confusion with the room be booked - we settled in. The room was very clean and furnished with an eclectic mix of f&f’s. The en-suite was good too, maybe just a little ‘tired’. We opted for cooked breakfast which was good but none of the other normal b&b items were offered. We booked a table for dinner that evening and having looked at all the online reviews we thought we were in for a treat. Sadly, that wasn’t the case and when we checked out we received a partial refund on the evening meal. We chose to eat out in Beccles for the rest of our stay. All the staff were friendly and helpful which was very much appreciated. I think customers would find it helpful to know there are no resident staff at the WL overnight and the rooms are not normally refreshed on a daily basis. The WL is set in a beautiful and quiet part of Suffolk with many attractions within easy reach, however, we won’t be returning as it didn’t quite suit our needs.
