Nice, clean, very peaceful atmosphere. Our stay in this hotel was great. Receptionist was very kind and welcoming. All the staff members including manager were brilliant and helpful aswell. Thanks

Upon arriving late at night at the Wigan Holiday Inn Express, we were greeted with the warmest welcome and exceptional assistance from the reception staff. I requested that my friend’s family room be arranged near ours, and the request was graciously accommodated. Aaron, in particular, went above and beyond—he not only helped me locate the nearest EV charging station (he also helped to try the Hotel Tesla EV Charging point, unfortunately, not compatible) but also took the initiative to find a dinner spot for us. To my surprise, he later knocked on our door with a handwritten note detailing the directions to both. His thoughtful gesture made us feel genuinely cared for and turned our stay into an unforgettable experience. Thanks to Aaron!

Very pleasantly surprised - modern updated rooms, breakfast great and super helpful and friendly staff on the desk. (The two lads on Friday night were really lively and helpful but I can’t remember their names - one of them was back on in the morning shift). Wigan IHG is much better than the one at Leigh Sports Village.

Stay here was okay although staff got abit unusual, and abit weird, didn’t get breakfast as I missed it by 1 minute as I am disabled and took a little time getting ready for breakfast

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Holiday Inn Express Wigan and was thoroughly impressed with my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm and friendly service from the staff. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with all the amenities I needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and the Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. The hotel also offers a complimentary breakfast each morning, which was a great way to start the day. The selection of food was impressive, with a variety of hot and cold options to choose from. The location of the hotel is also excellent, with easy access to the town center and nearby attractions. Plus, the ample on-site parking made it easy to come and go as I pleased. Overall, I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express Wigan to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the area. The staff, accommodations, and location all exceeded my expectations, and I look forward to staying here again in the future.
