"Very disappointed booked the breakfast and evening meal deal , waited for our starter then after I asked if we had been forgotten, I was told they were busy (only 4 other tables being served) waited another 20 minutes before we got our food , we were offered extra drinks, That evening I felt very sick and the following morning was sick at breakfast, we did tell the manager and he said he would refund the breakfast. I have not received any contact from the manager ,and no refund, despite sending an email directly to the manager. It would have been nice if someone had at least inquired to see if I was well after possible food poisoning!!"

"We visited this hotel as attending a party locally, we arrived on a very rainy Saturday afternoon after driving up from Southampton! We were greeted warmly, the pub was very busy with people having lunch. We were allocated room 5 which we very nice! Good size, large bed, nice view of the river, well appointed bathroom. Our only comment is we found the bed a little uncomfortable but this is just our preference that it was a little too firm. We had a couple of drinks in the bar and some Nachos when we got back - all very nice. Overall a lovely stay and we would definitely return."
