Travelodge Worcester

Great location for visiting Worcester as right in center, opposite the amazing cathedral, lots of restaurants and shops. Staff very friendly, decent size rooms and good breakfast (but go down early not 9.00am as we did and food was under warming lights so felt dry). Beds were amazingly good and room size was good too, TV worked fine and Coffee and Tea facilities in room were fantastic with top ups at reception.

Booked an early check in as we were on a time schedule. Arrived 10 mins early to make sure we would check in for 12. No one on the desk so rang the supplied number and lady said she would be a minute. She Arrived 7 mins after 12.. took a while to check us in.. finally got a room at 12.20. Went to said room and it wasn't ready.. not even sure if it was available??? Coffee cups on the side used.. bin full...bed messy so didn't go right In. Returned to reception who sort of apologised and yet again struggled to find us a ready room. It was over half hour from when we should of been in our room. This may not sound a big deal but when everything is planned for the early check in it put our plans out. We didn't have time to freshen up and change. No soap in the bathroom. No bath mat for the shower window barely opens and lots of noise from the businesses below.

Clean and friendly hotel in great central city location by restaurants, bars, shops and the cathedral.

Room very basic but clean and suitable for purpose. HOWEVER the hotel itself is extremely difficult to find. It is in centre of town upstairs above a gym with no proper indicators. We spent 45 mins driving round to try and find it. Staff in breakfast left a lot to be desired. Rude and abrupt breakfast trays were almost empty and food cold

Better facilities in an air b&b. Room a decent size, reception staff friendly, few other redeeming features.

Room 215 had bed bugs and baby ones in at least 2 of the beds Staff did not really believe me. Should have given me another room. Had one leg bitten Good breakfast Manager said he would send vouchers for what happened but not received yet When I arrived main door was locked and so had to go downstairs where s chap wasn't for letting me in as after 12. My car had broken down on M5. Manager said he would give him lessons on how to deal with guests. I am 78 and had a case and 2 bags s bit tedious having to go up n down.
