"We found hotel to be excellent in all areas, food, friendliness of the staff and the quality of the room. We've used this hotel and spa facilities a number of times now and every time we come away with a wow factor. Would definitely recommend and we will continue to use again ."

"We didn't stay here in the end, despite booking it, and feel very unhappy about the process (review ratings above put in so I could submit the commentary below). I was in a rush, my first time using the Trip App, and there was a very cheap room only deal for this Hotel, which showed 4 stars on the Trip site. We really only needed a room for the night whilst collecting a car so I wasn't as diligent as I would normally be. We expected to arrive late, so I tried to call to notify staff and ensure we could still check in. I called the number shown but it was clearly a multi-chain customer service site and they didn't recognise either the hotel or my booking reference. I googled to find a direct number, to no avail. I then checked Tripadvisor and noticed the recent reviews were terrible. In short, this is a run-down former hotel (that had good reviews pre-covid) that was closed for some time, and has been re-opened on a "remote-managed basis" - lots of very unhappy customers, but even the Tripadvisor review hasn't yet been dragged down by the current performance. Unfortunately the "cheap" price was attached to a no-cancel policy so I was unable to cancel the booking even a few minutes after making it. We chose to stay somewhere else, and they very kindly sorted us out at a good price. I understand I am partly culpable because of a lack of due diligence, however the manner of scalping a quick booking through a cheap price and then refusing any cancellation leaves a very bitter feeling from a customer service point of view. I would hope Trip would be better than this."

"We regularly go to North Wales at Christmas time. This time the room was not cleaned or amenities changed during the stay (even though we put the sign up as requested before 11am). Now parking is also charged so doing the maths it is cheaper or breaking even to stay elsewhere. "

"Je fréquente le Premier Inn Wrexham City Centre depuis des années, pour moi et mes enfants. Depuis son ouverture, je rendais visite à ma famille qui vivait encore dans le quartier après avoir quitté Wrexham il y a plus de 30 ans. Le personnel a toujours été aimable et serviable. Les chambres ont toujours été propres et la nourriture excellente. J'y ai séjourné seul lors de mon dernier séjour, pendant que mon père était hospitalisé. Le personnel a été très serviable pour réserver et réattribuer la même chambre au cas par cas, en fonction de l'état de santé de mon père. Lorsque j'ai expliqué les raisons de mon séjour, le personnel a eu la gentillesse de me réserver une chambre particulièrement calme afin que je puisse bien dormir pendant la journée, après avoir passé la nuit à l'hôpital. Malheureusement, mon père est décédé lors d'un de mes séjours, mais Lynne G, Nathalie et Jade, pour n'en citer que quelques-unes, étaient là pour me réconforter avec des câlins très appréciés, des condoléances et même une jolie carte et un bouquet. Lorsque je suis retournée pour organiser les funérailles, elles ont été tout aussi gentilles et m'ont aidée en partageant leurs propres expériences. Je n'écris généralement pas d'avis, ni positif ni négatif, mais le service client a largement dépassé mes attentes. Le personnel restera à jamais gravé dans ma mémoire pour la chaleur et la compassion dont il a fait preuve dans une période difficile de ma vie."
